Premier League games 28/29th December

This notion that Martinez has improved their football is garbage. They played a good brand in the final years of Moyes's reign. A lot of short passes back and forth at the back, and obviously the presence of Fellaini not being there clouds judgement. Even Fellaini wasn't a battering ram at Everton. I enjoyed watching them in the latter part of Moyes's years because they were a team capable of mixing it up. Short passes yes, direct yes, overlapping full backs yes, neat intricacy in the middle yes, just a lack of a proper striker.

Martinez is so far over to this tiki-taka crap it's boring to watch and it doesn't suit their 28m striker.

Well that should spice up this last 10mins.

Garbutt is rubbish. Utter rubbish.

Ayoze Perez. I'm sure they signed his brother but can't think of his name.
According to wiki he has a brother who plays in England but at a very low level. Found a Guardian article that said that his brother moved with him to England. Used to play professional football. Guess he gave that up (perhaps only temporarily) to give his brother moral support.

Can't believe Tiote had a shot there from about 30yds with 3mins left

Great win for Newcastle that.

Emre Can at right CB apparently. Should be interesting.

He played well there when he came on at half time against Burnley. That said, I don't like the 3-4-3 and would rather Can was moved into midfield.

Wouldn't have dropped (rested) Marković either, he's been more dangerous than Lallana recently.

Here's a stat for you.

Liverpool are yet to score a PL goal this season without Gerrard on the pitch.

But why would he mention him? On SWP, where's he at these days?
I missed a ! at the end! He's at QPR. Still spending most of his time playing fifa I assume.

To be fair he's made a lot of money playing FIFA. It's like a schoolboys second dream after becoming a footballer.
