Premier League games 28/29th December

That's very harsh on him.
Maybe a bit, but when I see people comparing him to Mcmanaman I just don't see it.

He's more clever than skilled, yet lacks the intuitive speed of thought to truly utilise it. He reminds me of a somewhat more skilled and less hardworking dirk kuyt. All graft and study with a basic level of talent to support it.

Like kuyt, he's a decent squaddie who will do what is asked of him more often than not and that is no bad thing to have. But that is all he is.

Because Rodgers is a tactical genius apparently. Well he would be if he was foreign.

Completely forgot about that, cheers. I wonder why he didn't try Gerrard there yet, he promised he will.

Swansea's away record is shite. Still perturbed about the opening game.

Thought I'd struggle to hear a worse atmosphere than city's but this tops it. You could hear a mouse fart in there.

Very tame performance by the Swans.

I still have doubts about Monk as a manager. Even though their league position is decent.

Routledge has been great... for Liverpool.

Has Moreno always looked that Scouse?

He looks like he could be Steven Gerrard and Neil Mellor's cousin.

Awful atmosphere, crap match, Swansea only turned up for those last few minutes.

Judging by the comments I'm delighted I turned it off after 8 minutes to go watch Brooklyn nine-nine!

I'm surprised how good that show has turned out to be. Can't stand Adam Samberg normally.

What Routledge did there is what Valencia used to do before he became shit. The old fashioned 'kick and run' past the defender.
