ESPN are way off. In the CDR, he has played 3 games (Elche (H), 2x Atletico) and scored 4 goals (2x Elche, 2x Atletico). Don't know why they doubled it. Skorenzy's stats are right.

WhoScored for league and CL games (and for every cup game that is also covered in the same detail, which usually just means the high-profile ones). I look at match highlights to fill in the rest. Transfermarkt is a decent source, but they use different criteria for assists than WhoScored (Opta) and ESPN.

Whoscored are based on Opta data which also means they aren't using silly assist definitions like "penalty won = assist" like Transfermarkt where a player can get an assist and a goal despite only 1 goal being scored. It's the most reliable source for sure.
As for Neymar. What to say? Mightily decisive for a 22 year old, especially in big games. He already was last season but injuries hampered him and Martino played him out of position to accomodate Fabregas. Suarez as a decoy keeping the centerbacks busy with Messi and Neymar attacking from the flanks is very very impressive to watch.

If you read his post you'd realise that video isn't proof he's wrong. It's true that he doesn't go down without there being contact, but like Gio said he's not against manufacturing contact, which isn't much better.

Yeah but there's contact in that video, it's not a foul but it's not evidence against Snake, who obviously just has a different definition of diving.

diving was the word used, not cheating. Some of you need to get into the habit of reading posts properly before you trip yourselves up.
As I said already I did read the post properly. Maybe you should have read mine properly. Diving=cheating. That was the point I was making. I consider "manufacturing contact" to be diving. In any case this is all besides the point. I posted a video above showing that no matter what your definition of the word Busquets has always been a diver so your initial post was wrong. To say Busquets has never dived is one of the most baffling comments I have ever seen on here. He is one of the worst in the world for it and is a notorious diver.

But he does dive. He goes down where there is no contact. The video I posted shows that he does DIVE. I don't get what your point is.
that he doesn't deserve to talked about as a diver time and again. Plus I just watched the first bit of that video and it's all fouls where there's contact, I'm guessing there's a couple in there with no contact and that's your defence for him being labelled a serial diver?
Who are you kidding. "Most fouled?" Fouled is a subjective call made by a referee.
He may extremely talented and gets his fair of rough play, but he is also a major pussy and a cheat.
Mind you it probably makes it harder for referees to make good calls when half of La Liga is hell-bent on diving and simulations more often than not.

Explain 0:05, or 1:02 for me please. That is not even simulation, there was no contact. It was straight up diving. Also, absolutely infuriating especially when you do a blatant dive in the box in a pathetic attempt to win a penalty. That is simply cheating on the same level as bribing officials and should result in a ban.

Neymar has always had a far higher ceiling. There wont be any doubt soon. He's so much more talented than bale.
He's a diver and a cheat, I mean there is ample evidence of him not only exaggerating contact but also feigning pain when there is none. A great player with the talent to become the best in the world should never resort to that but c'est la vie.
I guess I will take his antics and skills over another random player who has lesser skills and lesser antics. Not forget his marketing potential is also helpful for the club.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think anyone doubts he is an absolutely fantastic talent...would love to see him at United to be fair. As obnoxious as he is at times, I think far better than Suarez can be. Just a shame to see someone of his talent feeling like he needs to dive to get calls...everyone on the pitch struggles to deal with him as it is, don't need to make it that much harder on the other team.
Reason why I won't ever take a liking to him. I can't stand him because of his antics and I'm not buying all this crap about him being weak as reason for him exaggerating contact. He's got immense skill, can't ignore that, but he is a diver in my eyes. Well, that's just my humble opinion.
We all would if he was playing for our team our if we had player of similar talents with similar issues.

Maybe not the right thread for this but Bartomeu (Barcelona president) has been charged with tax fraud over the Neymar transfer. I don't really know the details, most of the info is in Spanish/Catalan, but he basically seems to suggest that he's only being charged because people aren't happy that Neymar is at a Catalan club...
Funnily enough a lot of Barca fans are quite pleased about this, they hate the current board and Rossell has had to resign over Neymar so wouldn't mind him being taken down as well. Though there are elections coming up soon where Laporta is expected to stand again.
