"but he scores this many goals in this many appearances and he is the greatest player in the world." He's a luxury player, great when your on top in the game and creating chances for him but as soon as the going gets tough and his team has their backs against the wall he wont have much impact.

He probably should have done better on his chance that he had so he had his chance to make his mark on the game.

At least Huntelaar did better in the big games

Good first half.Ramos is decent in the middle and Chicharito is working very hard. We'll see how they are phisically in the second half

More interesting will be how Madrid cope physically. They tired against Atlético last week and in quite a lot of big games this season - Barcelona won the recent Clásico mostly because of how quickly Madrid tired.

James Rodríguez has been excellent since returning from injury, he just creates so much chances. Already made two great ones, the header for Chicharito (who has been very good as well in this 1st half) running in behind and the 1v1 for Cristiano.

Wait, BerbaGOAT is on the bench on the other match? How come?

Hernandez's biggest game of his career? forgetting that CL final no show

Chiellini

Urgh, there's the Hernandez from last year - great chance, just missed. Excellent movement, run etc, but if you can't put it in the net...

Got to feel bad for Mandzukic and Griezzman, but they have been so useless since Atletico can't do anything but defend.

These riverdances he does really does feck all for him to confuse his opponent. He thinks it's still 2004.

Yes you Ronaldo.

That's actually embarrassing. Loses his footing and the arms go straight up for the penalty.

What exactly has Chiellini done?
