Thought that wildling woman's short story was done really well, clearly an influential figure, fierce warrior and all that but also a devoted mother, just the sight of those dead kids killed her, lost all hope there and then.
It's difficult to make zombies scary nowadays but gotta hand it to them, they nailed it, got some of the fear across really well and I think it's mostly down to how they have portrayed the White Walkers themselves.
Just for the sake of some criticism... Tyrion seemed like a different character this episode, either he had new writers or more likely they were just like "Have you seen what them other lot have got planned for this episode? Just get him and Dany to become buddies ASAP, by the end nobody will give a feck.
