Bundesliga 2015/2016

Holy poop Dortmund are on fire this game could end with a cricket score.

Auba's development is stunning. He's absolutely fantastic.

I wouldn't mind if they would stop scoring now, though. I want us to win this season from start to finish, don't need Dortmund topping us after 1 matchday on GD. Something nobody should have to worry about after winning 5:0. :D

We could end up third, depending how Wolfsburg play tomorrow. Wouldn't be surprised if they won 6-1 against Frankfurt.

13 Mil. €. Zorc´s best piece of business (including his veto to sell him after one season) since Kagawa.

gladbach look mediocre, to phrase it politely.

also i wouldn't have minded if they had sold auba after his first season. god how often i hated him for his pseudo-defending, when he was clearly still struggling to adapt. which he did. marvellously.

In before the Daily Mail makes up reports about a 60million United offer for Aubameyang.

For all the money we seem to have been wanting to throw at likes of Ramos, Bale etc. We should be breaking the bank to get either Rues or Auba.

Vintage Dortmund here and great to watch. When they play like, pressing the opponents so incessantly and counter attacking with perfection, it seems impossible that any side could beat them.

that young lad julian weigl seems to simply keep on doing what he's been doing in the pre-season friendlies i watched. his quick, direct, "functional" and simple passing comes really good imho.

It's so so weird that Dortmund don't play in the CL. Their starting XI is fantastic and they actually have incredible depth in all areas of the team as well. They're toying with Gladbach and it's far from easy to toy with Gladbach.

It might help them in league ala Liverpool two seasons ago. Here is hoping that Bundesliga is not a walkover this season

considering that we may get to the point when players like sven fecking bender, jonas hofmann and/or matthias ginter may have trouble to at least claim a seat on the bench is really "special". could as well lead to some issues tho.

All they needed was a fresh start with another genius coach.

@Sphaero thoughts on Heno? Personally don't think he has been worth the price tag, but then again I underrate him because everyone around me (all Armenians) overrate him.

For German standarts his price was probably a bit too high, by 5 Mil. € or so. Internationally his price tag was normal, though. His first season was fine, especially given the circumstances. His second one was unacceptable for the most part.

I personally view him as an extremely exciting but also frustrating player. So much unrealised potential. He is one of the cases of being too smart for his own good, which results in too much thinking on his part. This has really improved since Tuchel took over, though, who might be the better suited coach for him. So far the best player of the season and if he manages to consistently perform on that level he will be worth every cent we payed for him.

I have arranged myself with that now. We have not won the EL in our clubs history so might just get this out of the way and get something positive out of that nightmare season ;)

I expect them to win the Europa League, so I doubt they'll have an advantage. They already have to play 4 additional games to qualify for the EL group stages.

It depends on our form if the Bundesliga is a walkover or not anyway. If we continue to finish close to record breaking point totals, no one will come close. But I can't see it. We dropped from 91 and 90 points in 2013 and 14 to 79 points last season and that'll be around where we'll finish this season as well. Both Wolfsburg (if they keep De Bruyne) and Dortmund could reach close to that number if they play an excellent season. That's what we need from them to make it a close title race.

The feck is going on with Gladbach. Are they really having such a bad day?

are they not prepared or anything?
gladbach are playing like dortmund was still managed by klopp, indeed. they seem to rely on last season's similar anti-dortmund tactic, when they were also lying that deep and then killed dortmund with some fine, deadly finishing. this time, they seem way too passive to be able to defend dortmund's new-found creativity and their aggressive defending all over their own half.

DAMN I MISSED THE 4TH GOAL WHILE WRITING THIS SH*T

Auba deliberately fell over to confuse everyone, right? That was Müller-esque :D.

Turns out Reus was barely offside. Still, Gladbach deserve to be punished for their ridiculous defensive setup.

Apparently Arsenal are certain to sign him, should they not get Benzema.

Someone should inform Dortmund.

Oh, they did with a 50 Mil. € offer. Two weeks later Auba signed a new juicy contract until 2020.
