We have CL this year but decided to have a small squad. I don't believe Rojo will leave if some defender is lined up which I don't think it's the case.

I hate last minute transfers ..I remember staying up in 2013..waiting for Herrera..then it happened: Sky sports: We understand that the Ander Herrera deal has fallen through...then Sky Sports: We understand Manchester United have signed Fabio Coentrao on loan...Hang on a minute, we lied...I then celebrated like we had won the world cup when one signing did go through..

It was Marouane Felliani

I went to bed pre confirmation. A broken man.

So, am i right in thinking that at the moment, assuming martial is a striker, and wilson goes on loan, that we have two strikers in the entire squad?

How many do City have? Aguero - renowned injury specialist - and Bony, who is out for a month.

How many do Bayern/Real/Barca/PSG/Chelsea (are we still counting Falcao)/Arsenal have?

We don't need four strikers like in the Fergie days - we need one top class one.

And now rojo? We only bought him 12 months ago? the feck is going on!?

I have said on various threads and in conversation that I'll wait until the window slams shut (TM Sky) before I judge our business and I stick by it.

But SURELY our business won't be:

IN - Navas, Martial
OUT - Hernandez, Januzaj, DeGea, Lindergaard

Right? RIGHT?!

Need to include the whole window for balance...

Rojo is not leaving and I think Martial is signed for the striker's position despite being able to play on the left as well. Will surely receive the number 9 shirt IMO.

We need to sign a winger tomorrow. It's essential.

I think the Rojo rumors started with him being mentioned in the deal to sign marital earlier today. Journo's making something out of nothing as usual!

Of course Rojo is staying. We aren't signing a defender tomorrow, so losing any more defenders is not an option. What is more, the continental transfer deadline is in a couple of hours.

He's probably already with his international teammates.

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted with most of our ins in the window but there is no doubt if I'm sitting here tomorrow and that is our business (I. E those are the only ins) then I'll be thoroughly pissed off.

But we're not there yet so I believe.

We'll know for definite about Navas/De Gea within the next hour and a half, right?

Anyone tempted to go to bed early just so tomorrow can come sooner? I'm tempted, but don't want to miss any late night glory. Decisions decisions.
Muppet!!
I used to like the window ending at 11pm on a Monday, used to sit with my iPad on skyGo app on, headphones in. Telling the wife not to disturb.
Now I'll be lucky to make the 6pm cut off by the time I get home from work
