I honestly don't want the cnut at our club. Hope the move is not broken down. He doesn't want to play for us. Why do fans want to keep him?

If it has not gone through its not great for us. We lose the money, and De yea will take weeks to get his straight after the emotional upheaval, if he does so at all.

If he gets back into the team, media and our own fans will be scrutinising his every action to prove he is distracted/disloyal etc.

Hope the club has not done this deliberately - ethics of it are very debatable.

If this is true that it hasnt gone through, all I can say is  x10000.

Nothing less than what Madrid have had coming to them for failing to pony up a decent offer months ago, and trying to get him on the cheap and/or use underhanded tactics.

Its win/win for us at this stage really - if it goes through, it has to be said that we have got a good deal out of it. If it doesnt go through, it makes Madrid look like the utter twats that they are - and whilst it may not be ideal for the club, it is absolutely hilarious (in a good way) for the fans :D

Furthermore if he does end up staying (David de Stayer?) then we have all the options - we can simply refuse to play him, make an example out of him unless he comes back to Woodward cap-in-hand and agrees to sign a new contract.

I honestly don't get how people are thrilled about this. There's more than an outside chance that LVG decides that if his head wasn't right before, it hasn't gotten any better since all parties made it clear he was gone and he missed out on his dream move by minutes, so he'll stay on the bench, leaving us with that other tit, in goal.

Love how so many are quick to conclude that it is our fault. Nevermind that Madrid waited this whole time to try and strike a last minute deal. That and the paper work issue could have been from anyone, not just us.

Am I missing something, or is this just bad? We are in the exact same situation as this season so far, with Romero likely to go on to be our no. 1. I'm probably missing something blatantly obvious but I would have much preferred him to leave and Navas + cash to come.

United fans are getting on with the idea of Woody fecked Madrid off but forgot the blatant obvious fact.

Ballagues confirmed it again on SSN. Spanish media saying we sent the paperwork regarding Navas one minute late.

Did he tweet it? Do you mind replying to this with the tweet if so cause he's blocked me on twitter, meaning I can't view his tweets. I got angry at him a couple of years ago after the Herrera/fake lawyers fiasco
We're all good now. :D

Get in?

I'm not sure if I am absolutely delighted or a bit meh, I don't like having players that do not want to play for us but as it's Madrid I can only be happy.

They had fans standing in the bloody stadium with media and everything. De Gea was already in madrid.

Ballbags on SSN now.

Is he in tears? Heard him earlier on SSN about how proud he was to be the first one to call the deal. Guy must be devastated.

But in the end, its Madrids fault for leaving it all to this last possible moment

We signed navas too so they're proper fooked!

(Seriously though would have been better if it had gone through.this is actually Madrid stitching us up not vice versa.)

Wait! Have we signed Navas or what? The window is still open for us, imagine we have the Navas papers in front of us, just needs our stamp of approval and we get Navas and they don't get DDG but also lose Navas!!

I fecking hope it doesn't go through. feck madrid. feck them so much. I would love it keegan style if this really fell through because we didn't send the paperwork in by a minute :lol::lol::lol:

This is a shambles. United are becoming as big a circus as Madrid these days. This should have been expected with these two clubs involved.

Says spanish media are reporting that Real think this is revenge for dicking us around with Ramos.
