We could have got back in time and had Churchill record a statement on our behalf and noodle would think it was shit.
We shall fight them on the pitches!
We shall fight them in the stands!

Every year.
Which one of you wants to be the one who goes from being normal to following me around the forum for the next three months insulting me after every post I make?
There is always one...well one plus Lance but I think he's banned, so there's probably two openings this time around. Amol's already bordering on making a start so if anyone else is interested they better get in quick!
Good of United to release a statement to fight their corner however how anyone can think De Gea being here till the end of the season is a good thing is beyond me as surely he either simply won't be in a fit state of mind to play or might be but will be frozen out by LVG as his long term future clearly is not here.
I'd have preferred to see him gone with Navas coming our way. Now we just have a reasonably high earning passenger who is undoubtedly good enough to start for any team in the world but won't be starting for us due to non-footballing reasons.
The whole thing is quite sad to be honest, I much have preferred the money.
Stop playing the victim, noods, you made some silly posts and people pointed it out.Every year.

I think just these words would have sufficed. It would have been better if United had released a statement which was just a giant middle finger tbh. It would have been about as professional, and would actually have been funny for the reason it was supposed to be.
Either that or you know, just do nothing, let Real make tits of themselves and preserve some tiny bit of dignity.
What's wrong with the statement? Real are basically blaming United that they didn't get their precious Spanish keeper when they cocked up themselves and United have responded in a proper matter.
It reads very stupidly, and is completely pointless.
No one cares who did and didn't send who to what, except people who want to point fingers and act like children about it. No one else has any reason to care, because it doesn't matter.
You don't have any reason to believe Real are the only ones talking nonsense other than because you're a United fan and want to believe that. Anyone who is a fan of neither club would probably read both statement, think "haha, what a collective bunch of idiots" and then get on with their evening. Here we have a forum half full of people practically ready to have a hissy fit at this being made aware to them.

Now i know you are WUMing, because thousands of people care. They care enough to stay up through the night and keeping their twitter feeds up, of course they care about our version of the events. And why should fans of neither side have anything good to say about this saga in the first placeNo one cares who did and didn't send who to what, except people who want to point fingers and act like children about it. No one else has any reason to care, because it doesn't matter.
DDG is a professional and he'll get on with his job I'm sure. He's not Balotelli or Adebayor. He has been nothing but a true professional thus far in his career.
If he is frozen out, then LVG is the one who is the problem.
DDG is ten times the keeper than Romero is. And even if his head isn't in it 100% because he wants to sign for Real, he is still five times the keeper Romero is.
Aye, this is definitely bad for us. That deal going through would have been better for everyone involved, which is presumably why everyone agreed to it.
why do you think they had concerns?
It can be your preference not to do something, but do it anyway because of other factors. It's really not that hard to understand.
yes, totally deserved, is a joke that a elite team can have those mistakes , although I would like to know the real version, United sent it on time, but Madrid version said that United spend many hours checking the contracts and I read the last weeks that United didn´t want to put a price until last days. In any case they shouldn´t be closing the deal some hours before the end. Do you think that De Gea will play even if he doesn´t renew?
Why did we wait till the last day of the window? Did that help us in anyway?
'We showed Madrid', that is good and all, but was it advantageous to us?

Price has been known the whole summer as far as I know. Also from Madrid report it seems it was 2 hours between United sending changes to a contracts and Madrid sending papers, signed by Navas and DDG back to United. In any case Madrid didn't file the papers at all in the end.yes, totally deserved, is a joke that a elite team can have those mistakes , although I would like to know the real version, United sent it on time, but Madrid version said that United spend many hours checking the contracts and I read the last weeks that United didn´t want to put a price until last days. But what about the finger?I think just these words would have sufficed.
"Manchester United acts appropriately and efficiently in its transfer dealings."
Sorry, I was watching it live. Jesus, I went off to play mass effect and came back to a ton of alerts. "WTF have I done now" entered my mind.Link?
Navas didn't appear to want to be here. He's no loss.
This buys us a year and gives the boy at Ajax and Sam Johnstone another year to develop.
I'd loan Johnstone out now and see how he does. We can make a unrushed choice in 9 months
We're not going to play Romero or Valdes so yes. He isn't going to refuse to play and Van Gaal will say the matter is over now and DDG can focus on the season here.Do you think that De Gea will play even if he doesn´t renew?
