Milner has been absolutely shocking all night. Just as he was against the part timers.
That's an odd substitution
Playing Stones out of position is hardly going to make much of a difference going forwardNot really, clyne's been poor.
Why Stones on for Clyne instead of one of the CBs?
Cos Clyne has been poor? Why Stones on for Clyne instead of one of the CBs?
It's a mystery. Why Stones on for Clyne instead of one of the CBs?
Is English Glenn Hoddle's third or fourth language?
WilshereLooking at Enlgand team and their options, the defense is OK. Clyne is solid, Shaw is showing his talent and can go on to become a great player, Smalling/Cahill/Jones/Stones are good CB options. Forward 3 with Rooney/Kane/Sterling/Sturridge/Welbeck/Ox as options are not bad either. It is midfield which looks uninspiring and boring and might prevent England from being contenders. When all fit, I think Carrick-Henderson-Barkley is their best midfield 3 which is nothing great when they will come up against better teams. The other options like Milner/Shelvey/Delph are not much to get excited about either.
Playing on the same line as Ox and Sterling, I'm sure it's instructions from The Owl.Why is Rooney playing so deep?
Just get yourself in the box. If he doesn't break the record soon it's going to become a psychological issue.
