I'd try Varela over McNair. Surely can't do any worse than poor Paddy has today.

I don't know, I don't think we've looked bad today, sure, still 0 and I think with 0 chances on target but we were a bit unlucky there just as much as we've been lucky with those posts in our goal.

Another shite half. McNair shouldn't be starting for a team that has spent 300 million pounds. Also Mata... get him off. Useless again.

Well that's that. Not sure what to make of the first half, Lingard played well.

You'd imagine poor Louis the control freak is freaking out right now, he can't stand this kind of chaos

The commentator begging for the united fans to boo. cnut.

I heard that too (if its the NBC stream youre watching). hes been a dick the whole match, not sure what his problem is.

LVG riding his luck yet again. The Hammers could easily be winning 3-0. Philosophy.

We have learned that Fellaini is somehow more effective on the pitch than Rooney. Juan Mata continues to do nothing. So much money spent and we just have so many average players. It's really quite unbelievable. The fault is either with the choices we have made in our transfer windows or with how the LVG philosophy makes our players afraid to do anything other than pass it safely backwards.

God help this team over Christmas, is all I'll say.

Some of those delicate little flowers would get injured if you looked at them wrong.

Should be down at least a goal. Surprisingly we haven't dominated possession today and west ham are really giving it a go.

Its going to be a tight game unless west ham choose to sit back in the second half. Credit to them for coming to OT and playing so well. Best performance ive seen from an opponent so far this season at OT.

Blind and Mata have been rubbish. Both tabbed as being able to create and pick out passes. Both have been passengers and Blind continues to make huge errors at the back.

Martial had a half chance and Lingaard is playing well but we just seem so lost in attack. No real penetration or danger seems to come from our players.

Wish we had another striker. Martial has to go on the left. He's our best dribbler and he's not getting on the game enough.

Can we please try putting Pereira on? You know - the youth player who actually has a bit of flair and can pick a pass in his game?

I have been pretty vocal about us being boring but today we have been brighter, some stray passes etc but much more intent than in recent games, am enjoying this game

Yeah, exactly. We haven't been great but we're playing with purpose when we do get forward. Final balls just been shit again.

Not a great half. We have been very average so far with the ball, and off it we have looked far from solid. Only a few players having a good game at this point. Hopefully they pick up in the second half

Moyes like football with the results. AKA Fergie like in his last four years.

A win will take us in front of all our rivals. In December. And we only just finished 7th last year.
The results haven't been close to being that good.

Honestly to me it looks more the players rather than the system. We get into good positions but the finall pass, shot, cross is awful. We urgently need quality upfront.

We don't have enough quality in the front four. And in our overlapping fullbacks. Shocking concerning the investment in the squad.

Entertaining first half imo. West Ham had the better chances, we looked more open than usual. 1 shot on target between both teams probably tells a story but at least it wasn't tedious to watch.

Blind and McNair have been awful. Both look brainless and McNair's positioning has been atrocious.

Mata is useless against physical sides like this.

Martial started out well but drifted out of the game as time passed. That's been a constant the past few weeks.

Looked uncharacteristically lively in the first ten minutes, after that it was the usual boring shite. Lucky not to be trailing.

Can't see how we can score.

It's been a good game, stop moaning.
Yeah the game hasn't been boring but we haven't played well at all. Talking from our perspective. We started off well but went to shit after their first chance basically.

Have they really created them though? Most of our fans wouldn't consider those as creating chances if it was us. They'd instead say it came from feck ups by their defence.

    They've had better openings though.
Moses going through on goal was a better chance than anything we created.

Can we please try putting Pereira on? You know - the youth player who actually has a bit of flair and can pick a pass in his game?

Please... We all know it is his job to keep the seats warm.

This is a bit frantic but quite clearly more entertaining as well. I wish we'd kept up the intensity we showed from the start. We've got good pace on the attack but they aren't quite exploiting the West Ham defence well enough.

We're so lucky not to be losing though. Been saved by the woodwork and De Gea too often.

Awful, doesn't matter who's playing in those attacking places we are just not getting enough clear chances, it is boring, we have turned into a very boring side, even bad teams who lose every week score goals. We are going to miss out on the top four if we don't stop this slow motion play, we have to move the ball far quicker and use the pace we have, which isn't great but better than what's being shown.

I'd put Young there. We're getting into good positions down the right, but it's clear McNair's not a right back.

I thought that but Young isn't that great on the right. I'd rather Darmian on the right and Young at left back, which i hope happens now Moses has gone off.
