A little guessing game....

1. In which transfer window will it next be broken?

2. Which club will break it (i.e. The buying club)?

3. Which player will it be?

P.S. For reference, Wiki currently has it down as Gareth Bale for €100m (£85.3m)

Real Madrid will have their transferban after the summer window right?
 
I think it's quite likely to be broken by City this summer

I think that the current record could easily be broken a few times this summer - City, Madrid and maybe ourselves the most likely.

I'm going with Pogba as well for no reason other than the fees speculated about and how he always seems to be rumoured to move to RM/City/PSG.
 
Pogba is the obvious choice.

Raiola as his agent and linked with clubs who love to chuck money around.

Its widely reported in Italy that Pogba has told Juve he will stay there next season. If Pogba were to leave for the money he would have left by now imo.
 
Love that people think Kane would be an £85m + transfer.

Would he even be £50m if he wasn't English?

There was 4 years between Ronaldo and Bale and 8 between Ronaldo and Zidane (Kaka doesnt count as the record for me) I don't think its crazy.

I also don't think most of the players mentioned are A) good enough or B) available. If Neymar moves then sure, he might break it, but I doubt he'll move and whilst I think clubs would like Pogba, I don't think anyone is paying close to £100m for him and he'll stay put because of that.
 
Pogba to Madrid, £80m
Martial to Barcelona in 3 years time, £110 million.
Neymar to City, PSG or Madrid, £150m.
