To a certain extent, yes. It was a very, very muted reaction in a game of this import if he thought he'd just been robbed of a pen. I'd be expecting a Utd player to be reacting much more strongly if they thought they were being done out of a legitimate pen in a game that would win a first ever championship.

No, I don't think I will, but I do know my first reaction would not be an elbow to the throat. Whether the tug came first or whether he was getting ready to elbow at the same time, or if he had time to even think to react in that fashion is something that we can't fully ascertain, so let's agree to disagree, I'm not even that sure of that. I just know that the elbow to the throat (could easily have been the jaw/face) is wildly disproportionate, and easily the worse offence.
