OT EVACUATED | Device signed as having been recovered, could NOT be detected by sniffer dogs

Bottom line is the only thing that mattered today is the safety of people in and around the ground. LVG being saved an awkward today is just a footnote - which I'm sure you agree with (post not intended to sound like you don't, just emphasising it). As long as he gets sacked I don't care if he didn't get some more boos or got to see @Andy_Cole 's sign.

Of course, but s**t like this doesn't want dwelling on, it only boost the impact of crime, United dealt with it fantastically, no one was hurt, job done.

Now the focus returns to the football, win on Tuesday, the FA cup, and LvG gone, no misguided delusion on the boards part in the meantime please.

I'd lost all faith in the board making sound decisions long before this, so I'm not holding much hope.

Surely, surely we're not that badly run / organised?...

I remember reading an article recently which mentioned how United's security team was the best in the country, and how other clubs would look to us for guidance in that area.

If that's true I'd expect us to be bringing the Bournmouth away fans up all expenses paid like VIPs next season. Christ.

Van Gaals fault.

Fergie used to check everything including toilets from top to bottom.

What the actual feck, could we be more of a joke right now as a club on and off the pitch...embarrassing is an understatement.

Funnily enough, it's actually the most plausible explanation for a hoax device.

Can you imagine if City had lost today and we got to play our game a couple of days later knowing that result, and then it was revealed we planted our own fake bomb that postponed our game

Is it the clubs fault if the blunder was made by an external training company?

Fair enough, I've just realised it was an external company that left it behind.

Regardless, it's all just a bit ridiculous.

And the United fans from OOT!

And now it is understood that in what appears to be a staggering blunder, the ‘bomb’ was left by an external training company at the stadium in error in the days leading up to the game on the final weekend of the Premier League season.
Think it's fair to say they'll be losing the contract.

It was Andy Mitten though.

He's a bullshitter.

You don't think so? Maybe I'm wrong but I would be surprised if we didn't.

What on earth for? The stewards, police and security on the day did their job as required given the situation confronted. How or why the device got there is secondary in importance.
