Europa League final: Liverpool vs Sevilla

Liverpools problem - they run themselves into the ground in the 1 half. And then there is a second half.

Well to be fair, if the ref wasn´t a blind mofo, they´d have been up 3-0 at halftime and the game is dead. Furthermore their defense is weak. I mean Moreno must have been on vacation, when they handed out the football brains in Spain.

It will be something extraordinary if Liverpool will lose it, given how first half had unfolded:D.

The problem with Liverpool...as much as I love their high pressing game they just can't keep it up for 90 minutes. It all hinges on blowing teams away within the first 45 minutes. If they don't they start to struggle big time. It's happened so many times this season.

I hope they continue praising and having faith in Lovren. Fecking Toure is like a Ferdinand in comparision to him tonight.

I still think there are more goals in this match, the defending is poor.

Thought I went into the final pretty neutrally, but the 1-0 felt like a kick in the balls and I celebrated the last goal nearly as much as one of my own guys. Now I´m certain, feck Pool!

Liverpool have barely done anything this half. It's been all Sevilla. They deserve the goals because they've had the chance to score 4 or 5 quite reasonably and simple maths tells you that given 4 or 5 clear chances then 1 or 2 are bound to go in. Expect Liverpool to hurt them as Sevilla tire toward the end.

Touré will have to pee in a cup after the game.

Exactly. You could compare it to how McGregor started the 1st round against Diaz. He was pretty much controlling the match, got in punches on Diaz, but wasn't efficient enough with his energy and in the 2nd round he gassed out and Diaz got in some punches in his face which totally affected McGregor. We all know how the rest of the match went. Hint: Tap tap tap!

sorry to pester guys, but has anyone got a link to this youtube that BT have put up?

Ah yes, that's exactly how I would compare it.

Gameiro has portuguese blood, that explains his atrocious finishing. Up there in the Postiga school of strikers

That's his main asset, at some point he was the most effective striker in Ligue 1.
