Jesus, we aren't signing the bloke for 5+ years and building our team around him. He's here for the short term. He's not just a goalscorer, he's phenomenal in the build up too. The lazy 'age' argument has been used against him since he hit 30, and every year he proves everyone wrong. Why don't we base his performances on last season/this Euros, rather than assuming that because he's in his thirties, he must be done. As it stands, his legs have not gone, he is a world class CF, as he has proven for years, and he's set to come to United coming off his best season. Wow, what a shite signing...
It is when you obviously do not follow him, because everyone who does will tell you he is not declining. He may soon, but has not shown any indication yet. But perhaps you know better despite all this.
Sportbild is reporting talks with Bayern but Sportbild is very unreliable.
Why should he be getting better? Do you dislike Rashford and Martial that much?

Because to assert that he's declining even though he's just scored 51 goals in a year you must have some pretty solid reasoning to back your claim up?

Not really. He scored 11 goals for Sweden in a calendar year 2015, his highest ever tally. Played 51 games for PSG last season, his highest ever. Scored 5 goals in CL, his second best tally in champions league.
Delighted if we get him, it's the shit players behind him (except the obvious few) that I'm worried about.
I can somewhat understand his logic eventhough his previous posts about how Raffael being better than Zlatan was laughable. You can maybe compare the past season of Zlatan's with Ronaldo's of the past few years. They've both lost a lot of pace, but they've become more clinical finishers.
Yeah, they have improved other aspects of their game. It's not a coincidence they get so many scoring chances (having better team helps though).
Not sure what's the risk in this deal. He had his best season in terms of goals scored and on a short term deal.

Unless Bayern sell Lewandowski, i doubt Zlatan is interested.
I think he fancies having the PL title on his CV, and with Mourinho at United, i think both PL and CL is possible in 2 years.
I am not saying that i personally think it will happen, but it is possible.

thats been my prediction all summer - him linking up with anchelotti - hope I'm wrong but I imagine a CL medal would be more important than PL to most people and he would have a great chance at Bayern of achieving that
Signing Ibra without anyone knowing would be a Bayern thing. Not signing Ibra when linked and reportedly done over a summer would be a Man Utd thing..
Tbh i would not be surprised if Bayern sold Lewandoski (or just kept him) to Real for a ridiculous fee and signed Ibra as the short term solution. But i guess i am starting to become paranoid! Silly season at it's best

If he ends up going to Bayern then it wasnt meant to be, I want him, but best case scenario is one season and 30 goals. Am i really gonna lose my shit for the sake of one year. Highly unlikely bayern will buy him. Even taking aside the fact that they have muller and lewandowski anyway, they won't ever buy someone who is egotistical like ibra. Plus no way they are paying his wages when all they need is someone as backup for muller and lewa which ibra won't be happy with as much as he likes ancelotti. I don't see ibra being happy Winning the CL having no major part to play in their success.

Real won't buy Lewandowski this summer. They'll get Pogba this year, then go for whoever the current superstar winger is next year for their attack.

Ibra would be well suited to Bayern and German football. Very similar to being at PSG. Only thing is they currently have a striker who is better than him. Unless Lewandowski has requested a move this is a no go.
Bayern won't pay his ages nor are they a club who make these type of signings. Don't think you have anything to be worried about.
