  • Leave the European Union

    Votes: 80 18.8%
  • Spoiled ballot

    Votes: 24 5.6%

  • Total voters
    425

I expect Scotland to demand another referendum on their own sovereignty as they are clearly out of kilt with England/Wales.

Maybe Scotland and London can make a new country and leave the rest of the UK to it?

London did that years ago.

Independence is/was a decisive issue, but I honestly feel so much better having Nicola Sturgeon as my First Minister than Farage/Boris/Cameron etc. Would be why I want out aside from economical reasons.

Yeah, she's fought for independence for most of her life and is at least quite integral - any issues I have with her are comparatively minor to the sliminess of Boris and co.

I almost feel sick. Have a feeling this is going to be a grave mistake. I just can't believe the majority of people having listened to the facts have done this.

I'm astounded.

Nevermind football, Democracy is coming home!:D Brilliant to see so many British people wanting out of the corrupt scheme.

i disagree don't think this is just gonna bugger up our economy, the EU has to figure out how to deal with its largest customer leaving, and the world has to deal with the 5th largest economy possibly going into meltdown..... this will not just affect the UK!

This is level 1 analysis though. What you are ignoring is what makes us the 5th biggest economy. All the huge corps who have European HQs in London. There is a genuine risk that they move. Then our economy goes to the pan and no one literally will give a flying feck.

I feel like i need a hug and someone to tell me its going to be ok, apart from the fact my country is filled to the brim with morons apparently.

The EU will pass from some rocky time but the benefits of the EU acting like arses with the UK (ie London financial status, reducing the risk of contagion with many other countries leaving etc) will outweigh the benefits of it acting nice. To think that this inevitable recession on both sides of the barricade is going to be triggered by old people who do not work anymore is ridiculous. The Baby boomers had enjoyed a comfortable life with safe jobs and cheap housing and had made sure no else did

I hope team recession will enjoy their day today. They can't blame the EU for the crisis looming on us anymore
i agree on the inevitable recessions, how bad no idea.....

but not sure i agree on the old vs young, think it mainly been rich vs poor. you look at the map in england and wales it been rich places vote in poor vote out.

What would be the GDP of the rest of the UK if Scotland, London, Wales and co leave?

The average football fan should know that they can now forget signings like Martial and De Gea. They wouldn't get a work permit at that age and without the caps.
Nah I think football will be ring fenced to a certain degree. Kante to Leicester simply cannot happen but the big clubs will still apply for special dispensation and will get it.
No more Pogba at 15 though.

Watching David Davis on Sky right now, i wonder if he'll be open to returning to a Cabinet post in the future.

A big chunk of people voting for leave are 50 years+

Do you realise how much of an ignorant fool you are or do you need me to explain? To say a whole group of people are racist and a whole class of people aren't as intelligent as another is prejudice. But of course you wouldn't understand that would you.

I feel sick. This is literally the worst decision ever. Why would a government put such a complex, economic decision into the hands of Joe public?

Because of Cameron's arrogance and sloppy power games.

If he did his job properly in the first place and negotiated us better terms we wouldn't be in this mess.

He thought a few token terms in our favour would appease the people. He couldn't have been more wrong.

I wonder how long it will take for regret to start kicking in.

I wish someone from Remain would say they don't respect the decision, just as Leave would have done if it were 52-48 the other way

Thia thread is great  being undecided until a few days ago but having voted out this thread is a great showcase for the arrogance or the Caf.

Being far left is just as bad as right, from the initial optimism and the useless polls right through to the "we're greater than those right wing racists" comments. A majority of the country voted out, this will include people better than yourselves: doctors, teachers, nurses, people who do the same job as you. The fact that the majority of the country isn't represented on the Caf shows how exclusively left this place is - ya know, that's xenophobic in itself.

In the end and whichever way this is called it's been a great show of force, democracy at its finest, no doubt the remain will throw their toys out of their prams as will many a Caftard.

Maybe the remains should have used pens... :smirk:

Agreed.

looks like we redcafe (79:21 Remain) are totally out of kilt with the public view!!!!

UKIP will now rebrand themselves, called something involving the words "freedom" and "democracy" most likely, and be a more unashamedly populist right party in the vein of those on the continent.

true, but it also been down to wealth......

seems to have been failure to convince poor people of the economic problems, which isnt surprising trying to convince somone who is either on the dole or minnimum hour contract to vote to save the ecconmy is always gonna be a hard sell.

shocked we all didn't see it to be honest
