She's world classI bloody love Sheryl Crow.
But 2 League Cups in 20 years thoughNot to mention we actually won something.
Why do you worry about it?
We'll learn to live with Pogba in our ranks. It will be tuff but we can do it. He's not Alli I admit but he knows some football.
GlastonSpur said:It's possessed you all the way to your 2nd finish outside the top 4 in 3 seasons.
GlastonSpur said:Two seasons out of the last 3 outside of the top 4 for United
GlastonSpur said:we've finished above you twice in the last 3 seasons
GlastonSpur said:It's a period in which Spurs will likely have achieved their highest ever Prem finish and will have finished above United twice.
GlastonSpur said:The fact that Spurs have finished above United twice in the last 3 seasons is just one example of many.
GlastonSpur said:Not much ... United have still finished outside the top 4 twice in the last 3 seasons.
GlastonSpur said:But never mind, United haven't really dropped out of the top 4 twice in the last 3 seasons ...
GlastonSpur said:Or maybe it's different from United's three-year boom-to-bust cycle? Outside the top 4 twice in the last 3 seasons![]()
GlastonSpur said:In United case it's not just once "for a season" - it's twice in the last three years
GlastonSpur said:I'd say not - you're about to have your 4th different manager in as many years, have spent an absolute fortune only to finish outside the top 4 twice
GlastonSpur said:No, actually I don't: I've seen United spend bucket-loads over the last 3 seasons, yet finish outside of the top 4 twice.
GlastonSpur said:Well, your ambition next season should be to finish above us in the league.
GlastonSpur said:It went towards finishing 3rd in the league last season, finishing above United twice in the last 3 seasons
Learnt that from you. Just trying to see what it is to be a wum. Its not my thing but its clearly your forte. You clearly don't like to read what posters actually say.
United finished outside the top four? Below Spurs?! I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned before.

Given they flopped at the home straight and ended up finishing below Arsenal and that 'world class' Dele Alli and Harry Kane were both atrocious at this tournament, I'm surprised he's popped his head up to wind us up. It's not like Spurs can claim to be the kings at the moment. We had a depressing year of playing our worst football since the 80s and still finished only 4 points below Spurs...
We stand to gain £140m from tv revenue and £75m from adidas jersey sponsorship in just one year. We aint a wee little club like yours to be worried about future payments and financials.Worried about it? As I've said, I really hope you do spend £100m on Pogba.
I've seen many posters on here talk about £100m as if it's nothing to United, when actually it's a very large chunk of your entire club income in the last published annual accounts ... and that's not counting the perhaps £50+m wages that could well be involved.
Yes, the payments would be spread out, but then so are all the future payments committed to from your vast spending since Fergie left. Cumulatively, these all add up ... and eventually the financial chickens come home to roost.

A spud gun, maybe.He's such a weapon.
You do know he's just a fan too, and not a super ITK insider at Real?
Unless you know something I don't about him![]()
I think they want to sell. Apparently the club is again angry with James because he has a shoulder injury and appeared playing volleyball on vacation. It would be great if he could go to Juve or your beloved sheik pay us 80 m![]()
Even in the current market where prices are slightly inflated, no player is worth 100m. Pogba is a good player and may well turn out to be world class, even that is still up for debate, but we need to be sensible with price tags
I thought it was always about that, and a bit to win the league as well?I'm starting to believe that this signing for United has a lot to do with the psychological and motivational aspect. To use finally the money of the club , get a super signing that places the club again as an elite destination
How much time per day do you spare thinking about our financial situation?Worried about it? As I've said, I really hope you do spend £100m on Pogba.

Amazing. For someone who is so smug and cocky you'd think he supported a successful club like Barcelona or Bayern. But the only thing he has to gloat about is Spurs finishing 3rdUnited finished outside the top four? Below Spurs?! I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned before.
Watch out, sours are trying to sign JanssenI don't understand. We're supposed to be behind the likes of Spurs in terms of attracting players and yet we've signed Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and may sign Pogba.
No, because like the last England manager he seriously overates Spurs playersBecause Glaston Spur has an opinion?
Summer is still very long and Madrid still have not moved . Personally I think Juventus have no intention of staying with Pogba . I think their goal is simply to keep Dybala .
Now as in all these super signings the player has to do something declaring his intentions.
If Madrid pays 75 million €+Danilo, 25 million + James , or some combination of that kind , then I am happy with Pogba , but not excited . Otherwise , I´d wish him a happy career in England .
In my opinion these big amounts have to be invested in firepower: Lewandowski, Griezmann, Hazard...
Yes , it seems that finally everyone is happy. Keylor here and David many years in Manchester
Not just being compared. He said Alli is better.

Of course, but with that money Mourinho could strenghten two or three positionsI thought it was always about that, and a bit to win the league as well?
Football is not based on running . Isco is also slow , and Kroos ... and many others.Psg needs a good #10 with qualityI find him overrated. He is slow, no?
Really hope this happens.
£100m is fine. He only turned 23 and is already at a fantastic level. I think something in the region of £65-80m would be a more fair value but considering how young and good he is I don't really care. Plus we probably have to pay a premium as clubs will want some of that huge PL TV money
Would be a huge boost to our midfield and could make us title favourites I think.
for 100m he is available.
I'm very much hoping that United are gullible enough to blow £100m on him (even better, 150+m including wages over five years). It would be the ultimate triumph of hype over reality.
That would best describe Tottenham finishing behind Arsenal this season.
Perhaps it is too much after his terrible season, but would gladly pay 90-95 million eurosWould you be happy to pay £100M for Hazard?

I don't have to think about it. I already know it ... unlike some fantasists on here, who seem to believe that United have endless amounts of money.
For example, Poster X says" I don't care what we spend on Pogba". Well, Poster X will care very much when it comes to the much reduced amount available to spend on other players, either later this summer and/or the next window and/or the next one after that.
Of course, but with that money Mourinho could strenghten two or three positions
I think we are meant to be breaking £500m in revenue next year. Pretty sure we will be fine if we spend £100m on Pogba.I don't have to think about it. I already know it ... unlike some fantasists on here, who seem to believe that United have endless amounts of money.
