THIS THIS THIS. Honestly does my friggin head in, "Owwwww but hes so expensive", No sh!t the best players cost the most and guess what 5.1Bn has just been pumped into the league, some people need to get seriously real. This window is a new stepping stone in the Premier League. Palace are about to sign Benteke for 32m, Have any of you been to Selhurst park (Its a dive) its amazing how these kinds of clubs are improving and I love it. The best players should play in the PL and we are top of that tree in terms of revenue. The days of 16m for Kagawa are well and truly dead.

All of your points are fantasy I never once went on social media or the office and said "guess what, we just signed Schwienstieger for 9m!" If I did I would be met with "erm ok, is he any good now?" Now when I go into the office and say "Did you see Martial at the weekend" NO-ONE says "yeah but he will end up costing 80m, gotta balance the books...." its utter non-sense. Pogba would have an Insane impact on the club that alone is worth 100m.

In terms of the best available, not sureif you have had a look around, the next best is Gomes (who is available) so why not go for the best? Pogba is our player, he is one of us. He is a supreme athlete and a wonderful attacking midfielder who will be world class in 2 years time, he will have a similar impact to Lampard. Would you rather have that for his premium or James McCarthy who is a Box-To-Box who scores rarely but has no special qualities for around 30m?

Our budget is the biggest in the world, people forget we are currently operating at a higher turnover than Madrid, we are the richest club in the world, you dont get to boast about that if you don't spend any of it like a tight fisted old retired business man, there is a famous saying "you have to spend money to make money".

The FM/FIFA generation consider United as irrelevant, when you play those games online etc its PSG/ManCity/Madrid/Juve and Barca they play as since they have a collection of the best players. Who wants to play as Schwienstieger/Morgan and Herrera when you can play as Veratti/ Pogba/ Kroos?.

Lets all take a step back, perhaps JUST PERHAPS. Our new manager Jose Mourinho wants to win the league, wants to give a big F U to City, Madrid, Chelsea the money players in the world and actually build a team that can dominate games and have a sprinkle of flair. Tell me, someone, please, for the love of all that is good why the hell we wouldnt want to sign Pogba and build an elite midfield? even for 100m of our poisonous owners precious pension funds? Isnt it about time we stopped pissing about and actually took the initiative and destroyed the other clubs financially, commercially and most importantly on the field.

Sorry Rant over. P.S I don't mean this to come across as a personal attack, its just this has been winding me right up.

There is no pride in not leveraging our past success and revenue to beat the opposition.

i don't know if you had a read but I don't give a feck about the price we are paying. I think he's worth it and was only trying to explain why other ppl have a moan about prices in general.

Im out. Can a mod threadban me from this thread?
I'm not waiting to read this agent / contract / transfer bullshit that goes on. I'm tired of it

Please note that Raiola does sometimes split BS. Remember his comment about Zlatan might not go to United and that there were other offers and that his next club would be a surprise.

I remember that, do you have the exact quote?

Paul Hirst's tweet isn't a reason to get alarmed. It's the usual postering that big clubs do when they're about to lose their prize asset.

Juventus want to ensure that they show their fans they are doing everything possible to keep their best players. There's not a chance they'll be able to offer Pogba a new contract worth anything near what we'll offer.

Don't panic yet!

Title change should happen. I know Raiola might be talking shit, but I think what he says is more important than what Di Mazrio says.

Mods please lock this thread. This thread is about to spiral out of control.

We'll never forget you, Raul Pobgrass. :(

What do you mean yet! You mean we will be panicing later?:nervous::nervous::nervous::nervous:

Oh dear....awaiting confirmation from either club - till then ,anything can happen.
There is nothing going to be done at this point, Jose said he wants THE fourth signing in before August so that the club can get their sh*t together, it ain't August yet...

Will be quite funny to see how quickly the people shouting down those of us who still have doubts about him change their tune if he does indeed sign a new contract.

It's going to be an enjoyable few days either way. We sign great potential for 100 million and can enjoy a journey of him vs the doubters (pretty much all opposition supporters) or we can kick back and read the hysterics and drama of the fallen ones who unzipped a bit too early...

We never know what's around the corner. Real Madrid coud change their mind and offer £150m for him. Man City could persuade Pep to try and get one over us and offer an even more obscene amount of cash for him.

He might decide to stay at Juve and wait for Real Madrid or Barcelona. He might want to move to United this summer. Who knows?

Pogba has a lot of decisions to make in the next few days. Jose won't wait around though, we'll slap the huge offer on the table and say take it or leave it. If it's a no-go, we move onto the next target.

It isn't the end of the world, whatever happens. The planet will still keep turning.

Not saying that I'm ITK, but I am Paul Pogba.

He's Juve's highest paid player, and earns 90k euros a week. Our reported offer gets him up to 250k a week. There's no way they're matching that.

I just hope if we do sign him he lives up to the pricetag. I just can't see how we will recoup it if he decides La Liga is his destiny. We might break even if he is as good as some think. If he isn't then the loss we make on him will be ridiculous. If you spend 30m or so then you can take a hit. Taking a hit on 100m is another matter.

I'm worried that he'll stay with Juve for a season while Barca or Real save up their pennies.

And it will be hilarious to see those complaining about the fee all of a sudden be outraged that we aren't spending our budget to sign the best players we can.
