That's all fine. What I meant, If we were to miss out, the possible backup may not necessarily be similar to Pogba as it's rather hard (at least for me) to figure out a similar player.
He is a bit of an allrounder which is partly the reason for the hype. Still a long way to become 'complete' though but definitely has it in him to become one.

He's one of the actual ITKs around, knows a few of the players and was pally with the U21s who played with Pogba, may even have been friends with Pogba as well.

He used to be friends with Ravel and Pogba, amongst other footballers and actors from the NW. Claims to still be in touch with Pogba, saying he went to France to see him and watch one of their games. Reckons Pogba is coming back.

Paddys show know nothing. It don't take a genius to know what the general theme of the show would be. Saying anything else IS too speculative.
Good point, I was assuming they were showing clips of him playing for United. Maybe someone said it but I didn't realize they were showing recent clips of him playing for France.
The clips of Pogba being played are being overstated from my understanding. Guessing paddy was asked a question about him and hence the clips followed. If there was an actual programme on about Pogba that would be a different thing altogether.
This would be the biggest signing (litterly) in the window so would have the most hype anyway.
Think there was a time clause on the buy back option that they had to complete the deal before a certain date. They weren't guaranteed pogba would go to them and had to move to re-sign morata or the pogba transfer could have been held up with our bids and Madrid could have ended up with no one.
They won't look like tools atall. They talk about possible transfers of different players every day. The difference with this is that they have clips of him..being an ex-United player.
MUTV has been hinting about Pogba for weeks. This must be very close.
De Bruns Periscope is on now. He said Pogba wasn't too enthusiastic about coming back but has reluctantly agreed.
