What formation is that? The "Pogba" is where you'd put the left sided 8 in a 4-3-3. But the forwards suggest a striker, a 10 in the hole, and a winger, like a 4-2-3-1. It doesn't add up.

You can see Pogba or Mata or whoever on the left centre mid, and you can see Rooney and Mata in the attacking mid position, but you can also see Carrick on the defensive mid position.
Which means that he hasn't settled for just one formation.

All jokes aside, I think he's just listing all his players to see who can go where in his typical formations (433 and 4231). So Mata or Fellaini would be one of the more advanced in the 3 for a 433, whereas Mata or Rooney are the ones in the #10 position for a 4231. He could just be testing things out or trying to get his head around our mahoosive squad.
