Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

I didn't read the article tbh, what did he say?
The article says little, I meant the headline - Juventus being the confident club when they're selling rather than actually stating Manchester United are the club getting the deal over the line.

Mourinho must rate Pogba very highly. Haven't seen him play at all, so it's hard for me to buy into the hype. 100 fecking millions, nobody should be worth that much.
hes been trying to sign him 2 years now

What I don't understand is that we say we're the biggest club in the world and that players want to play for us even without CL football so why do we have to pay them £220k per week after tax to play for us. If we're such a desirable place to play then surely we wouldn't have to pay massive wages like that. He's only on about £75k per week now so why do we have to triple his wages in order for him to play for us?

I was listening RMC and according to them it's pretty much done, it's not signed yet but it should be 120m and Raiola's famous clause is included in the transfer since it is a clause between Juventus and Raiola instead of Raiola-United.

Sounds good.

Mourinho might be my favourite person in the world at the moment. I honestly can't remember a summer like this.

Zlatan confirmed he was leaving PSG and rumours of us being interested popped up. I instantly thought we should be all over that, and as soon as Mourinho was confirmed as our manager I was sure it would happen. Lo and behold, Mourinho hooks us up with Ibra.

Mkhitaryan confirmed he wouldn't be signing a contract with Dortmund and we were linked and I instantly thought he has all the attributes of a Mourinho player. Lo and behold, Mourinho hooks us up with Miki.

Out of nowhere Pogba rumours start appearing, and Mourinho just gets it done.

Credit to Woody too. They're on the hot streak of their lives. Long may it continue!

Money talks man.

No one really cares about club statures and all that. Just something the fans use.

Funny thing mentioned on RMC, United will receive a compensation since he is an academy player.

We negotiated a meagre settlement with juve to avoid going to the international tribunal iirc when he left. A sell on clause could well be part of it. Curious if we are waiving it or is part of the fee.

Di Marzio slowing down the muppet juices
I really think he's just making some of this up along the way, as I too believe the deal was already done some time ago or at least agreed in principle. As I said about 150 pages back, I didn't believe Pogba went into the euro final and then on holiday without already having known about his future.

That's not true. I've been called multiple times every season for the past 3 years about vacant season tickets.

When though, May/June? They sold out super early this season, and last season was fairly early too.

#Pogba the #ManchesterUnited raises #Raiola, the last node% devoted to: gianlucadimarzio.com/news-cat/pogba…

Saying basically that Juve won't go for the €110, still asking for €120, but deal basically done

It's all about money. This is a professional sport. I'm a big fan of android but the moment apple comes in and tells me they're paying me 300k I'm moving.

are you serious? Messi gets his contract increased every year. EVERY YEAR. He's on about 500 million euros a year at this point.

The love of the game doesn't take care of your kids. What if you break your leg and you're done as a professional? What then? It's about securing your future and your family's future.

Every job interview you negotiate for your salary. you get the most you can.

He'd be on big wages at other clubs too. Not hard to understand.

Lets say you were an up and coming software engineer/coder and Apple (biggest tech company in the world) wanted you to go work for them. You don't think you would request a pretty high salary?

No way in hell is he getting 210k\week after tax, that is about 400k\week.

But no doubt he will be on about 250-300ish

Wouldn't say so. First our new players have to gel, and secondly our defence and even midfield have A LOT to prove still.
Rubbish. No team in the league can currently handle this team. It's built for the league right now.

Only thing really standing in the way is INJURIES!

What fecking morons, I wish they bunkrupt one day and go down, They got him for free, which was our mistake and after we offer them more than enough money, they want more, greedy shitheads. It's even worse than negotiating with Levy except they will sell in the end.. And they had Evra for pennys as well..

500 million euros a year? What?

Is he worth all this money?

Mourinho seems sure that we can win the league with Pogba - remains to be seen.

Why exactly wouldn't they get as much money as they can? They have no obligation to sell to us and it seems we're pretty desperate.

More money in English football from TV rights and big sponsorships so naturally football contracts will increase.

Funny if true.

Seems the only thing holding up the deal is the agent fees.

L'Equipe did say it was 120 mil + bonuses, so everything Di Marzio has reported falls in with what they said I believe.
