Guys, Acquireme has said from the start that this transfer will happen. He can't keep coming in here and saying the same over and over again.

I pin my hopes on @Acquire Me. If he still believes it's done then who am I to disagree.

In times like these, you gotta find something to believe in, I also choose @Acquire Me

Already called that helpline

Would an @Acquire Me update help at this point? Or is it the case that those posts that were once like adrenaline shots to this thread now no longer have the required effect?

Its not much hope for this lot tbf  but it will be over soon. When Pogba has signed officially, I think some on here will miss this thread

He shall not sign for us. I have no hope. If this was happening it would have been concluded already like Bailly, Mkhitaryan and Ibra.

I think Casemiro is only preferred for big Euro matches or El Classico? Pretty sure for La Liga he preferred a number 10?

If I recall, most of their games after the new year was a 3 man midfield and Casemiro featured in most of them.

Might put some cash on Madrid coming in and swooping him up in a matter of hours while we dither with agent fees. Feels like the SAF era all over again.

jk lolz. I know as little as anyone else.

To be honest no. Last season i said to myself to try not to let this fecking club upset me anymore (i'm on tablets for depression and the last few Utd years haven't helped). I don't want to invest in this just to see Madrid swoop in and take him, just because we are fecking about over agent fees AGAIN.
No thankyou, no more ruined weekends.

While SAF reluctance to bend to agents demands was annoying, this deal is completely different.

If rumours are to be believed we will be paying Raiola 20M in fees. That is the equivalent of a player. In the Hazard and Lucas deals SAF didn't want to pay the agents around £6M, a huge difference.

It could be theorised that the we've purchased other Raiola clients as a sweetener to get him to lower his demands (not that I believe that).

IMO we'll strike a deal over agent fees in the coming days and Pogba will be announced shortly after he returns from his Jollies.

Your despondency right now will make the sense of elation feel even better when the deal is finally announced.

I honestly can't see Perez paying Mino's fee. That's a huge stumbling block for Madrid.

I don't know why but all this Pogba stuff reminds me of the whole Ronaldhino transfer saga.

Who even leaks these agent fees? Take them with a pinch of salt. I can maybe accept the £20m is for delivering Pogba, Mkhi and Ibra, but not just Pogba.

I think it's widely accepted he gets 20% of the sale fee, but Juve don't want to pay it. They want us to pay it.

It was something to do with him signing on virtually a free transfer to Juventus, and the agent negotiating 20% of any future transfer fee (similar to what some clubs insist on).
That £20 million would be paid for by Juventus, not United.

That guy hash seems to think pogba is gone. He also states the journalist who wrote the piece about pogba tomorrow that the deal is almost there is reliable, also I'd like to add in that I despise florentino Perez with a passion I hate him more then anybody else involved in football.

Florentino admits to Zidane that progress on signings is slow

The Real Madrid president had a brief conversation with the French coach after a training session at the Montreal base.

Florentino Pérez visited the Real Madrid squad after a training session at their Montreal base where he took time to greet the players on a one by one basis. After the squad had retired from the pitch the club president held a brief conversation with Zinedine Zidane.

Spanish TV cameras from the Cuatro network caught the conversation where Zidane greeted the president with a casual “¿Presi, qué tal?” (How's things president).

The Real Madrid president wanted to bring Zidane up to date on the latest developments regarding new signings and was overheard to say “Estamos enredando un poco” (We're somewhat bogged down) and confirmed that as of present nothing has been confirmed in terms of new player acquisitions.

The Real Madrid first team squad have seen the return of loan players: Alvaro Morata (Juventus), Asensio (Espanyol) and Coentrao (AS Mónaco).

It's not, because it was a % of £30m and this is a % of £100m

For some reason, I seriously doubt transfer information like that would be discussed on an open pitch with cameras everywhere.

God I hope this is right!

I'm hoping the madrid rumours are from juve feeding media to hurry us along so they can get their transfers sorted.

Must say I fecking despise everything about madrid but only had a soft sport for them until recently because I liked to see Ronnie do well. Hope they win feck all this season and get smashed by Barcelona.

surely this is a myth? how could Juve fool an entire club by telling Marca to put out a bullshit article of gossiping.

Earlier on people were quoting that statement “Estamos enredando un poco” as "we're fooling them".

I'm sorry but Juve don't need us to speed up anything, Jose and United want this done and all reports are the fee was completely agreed. It's just the agent's cut and Pogba to sign the contract. The only thing stopping this deal is if Madrid are actually interested now to save face and Pogba is thinking about them.

Well if they do want Higuain, then they'll need the funds from us before hand I imagine but won't want the pogba deal announced before else they'll possibly be fleeced for Higuain.

I'm speaking of links with Madrid in general in the past 48 hours not the Marca piece in particular. It's possible that Madrid are in for him last minute, Marca are their mouthpiece after all but I don't see what they can achieve from releasing this news.

If Pogba has made it known to Juve that he wants out to United, it's in Juve's best interest to wrap this up so they can take the money and focus on the rest of their off-season.
