The longer Woody dithers over this, the more time Madrid have to scrape together the funds they need to get Pogba his preferred move.
Exactly my point though. It was known Ibra had a few options when deciding where to go but well documented Mkhitiryan didn't really have any other offers apart from us. His Zlatan approach to Pogba makes me think this isn't as clear cut as it seems.
To be honest I don't really care whether we get him or not. He's obviously a fantastic player, but the huge sum to get him to come back to a club he left for free is a bit of a sore point.
Also I don't really think he wants to come to United for anything other than money, which is quite alarming.
The again if we sign him I will be chuffed to bits, I just won't be crying myself to sleep if it goes tits up like I've still got a feeling it might.
We've got plenty of baseball and basketball players making more than that.
because according to reports we are dithering on a few million pounds
Why is it Woodys fault? You dont know this
You literally have zero clue what is going on behind the scenes. "Woody is dithering", okay mate. Unless you're his receptionist or his mother, get off the soapbox.
MadridistaWhen did Juventino become a thing? I'd heard of Madrista's but recently Atleti and Benfica have a nickname for their fans as well .

Juventino has been around from the beginning. Opposition also have a chant going like Juventino pezzo di merda! When did Juventino become a thing? I'd heard of Madrista's but recently Atleti and Benfica have a nickname for their fans as well .
How do we know there is a hold up?Jose has claimed he doesn't want to be held ransom and with multiple reports about Juve wanting us to pay Raiola's cut you'd think it has to do with money. Otherwise what could be the hold up, it seems we've agreed terms with Pogba and Juve so what is left?
After the turn of events this morning, and the numerous confirmations filtered in throughout the afternoon, Gonzalo Higuain and Juventus are ready to come together. In fact, the Argentine striker should be in Turin at the beginning of next week, perhaps on Tuesday or Wednesday, when the bianconeri will have defined all of the details for Napoli. For now, Higuain will remain in Madrid until Juventus gives the ok for him to return to Italy. However, Pipita is not the only ongoing negotiation as Marotta and Paratici continue to work to define the details of the agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of Paul Pogba to England. Mino Raiola remains by the player’s side in Miami, in anticipation of the conclusion of the deal between Juventus and United.
Madridista![]()
As a flat salary?
I've been positive for the most part this whole saga, but the longer it goes on the less likely I think it's happening. We have Jose saying we won't be held ransom, that we have other options, we have reports that Zidane likes Pogba and is calling him to join yet Perez doesn't like him, which makes no sense at all, why would Zidane call him to persaude him if he didn't have a chance of signing him.
Also, Raiola was a lot more aggressive when talking about Mkhitryan being linked to us, for example.
Honestly think Madrid will come in last second or he'll stay at Juve, not cause I'm scared of Madrid because according to reports we are dithering on a few million pounds.
Lastly for people saying where he will play at Madrid, they could sell Kroos and use Pogba in the 433. Kroos would then join City and Pep in a heartbeat leaving us with Matuidi imo.
link?

I just know stuff man, dont worry. You will get good news on monday.
Dithering? We're about to sign a player for over £100m with over 5 weeks of the transfer window remaining. That's not dithering. That's impressive. The longer Woody dithers over this, the more time Madrid have to scrape together the funds they need to get Pogba his preferred move.
They can fund the first 50% of the payment which is due this season by selling fringe players like Zaza and Pereyra. They don't need to sell Pogba.Sounds good. No way can Juve spend 94m on Higuain without the Pogba cash. They have money, but not that much money.
The only updates we will be getting tonight will be the back pages of tomorrows newspapers.I don't get how you even expect an update on a Saturday night at 10pm. Do you really believe Woodward is in some kind of secret meeting right now?![]()
Sounds like what we all been saying. Still working out minor details. Its like getting through a Bill in congressFrom GDM, it's positive news IMO.
There's wages as well. If they didn't sell Pogba they'd have to give him a big new contract. They can fund the first 50% of the payment which is due this season by selling fringe players like Zaza and Pereyra. They don't need to sell Pogba.
It's just frustrating how long these things take, but you're right- if he pulls this off, credit to the guyDithering? We're about to sign a player for over £100m with over 5 weeks of the transfer window remaining. That's not dithering. That's impressive.
Seems the last hurdle is the agent fees etc, such a huge deal is taking time.I thought a deal was done with Juve already?

I really fail to grasp this train of thought some people convince themselves with whereby one of the most financially important figures in the game is supposedly sat at negotiations with a sweaty forehead counting his coins inside his purse and somehow is dithering over how much to pay.
Know this:
1. Bid has been made and reportedly been accepted.
2. Players' contract is set and reportedly accepted.
3. It takes financial planning and structuring over some time to get over the hurdles that are 1 and 2.
4. At this point the deal is either in its final hours or waiting for external pieces to fall in place so the deal can be finalised. Whichever it is, it is not on us anymore.
5. Bonus point because I am sure some folks believe in fax machines being part of transfer dealings. Hint: they are not and have not been for some time.
There you go not long left.
