I love how bluemoon had a 33k thread for Pogba and he is going to sign for us.

I think it's only fitting that we all take a 'Dab' selfie when we all hear the announcement to capture the moment perfectly and upload the pics on here

Good idea. You go first.

If it comes off, I will if mods allow it. Be Amazing if we could get it trending  I imagine there would be some funny ones and be interesting to see where everybody is at the time it's announced/time they hear the news.

This thread needs to die fast.

So still not agreed with a fee with Juve nor with Raiola regarding his cut.

This might still drag on.

Part of me would love us to walk away and see what happens with their Higuain deal. They've spent an awful lot lately and it just feels like any club can hold us to ransom if they feel like it.

Reports say it's 47 per year for 2 years. I actually think they can afford him even without selling pogba, woukd be a stretch but they could do It by selling some assets like Zaza

Really wish I'd put that bet on Madrid at 18/1 now.

This thread needs to die fast.

Never  Dunno what makes you say this but you have to come to expect a bit of piss taking and ridiculous muppetry in this thread.

If you can't handle it and you don't find it amusing then why bother commenting and making miserable bastard posts like that? Just simply ignore it. If that wasn't your intention though fair enough and I apologise if I've made an unfair assumption, but people need to stop taking everything so bloody seriously.

I've witnessed some awesome threads over the years on transfer sagas like this one; alot of them in the classics now and I find them hilarious tbh.

Just for that post alone I hope Pogba goes to Madrid

In #Manchester speaking of "huge event" next week for tabling #Pogba. Something big. Maybe is joined. MAH.

Woodward going to unveil pogba like Madrid do for galacticos?:lol:

Don't get the Juventus fans who think that United decline started 5 years ago because in 2012/2013 they went "further" in C1 and 2011/2012 they won the league while United came second (let's not forget United was in the C1 final in 2010/2011 and won the league in 2012/2013).

Juventus in C1
2011/2012 - Not qualified
2012/2013 - QF vs Bayern
2013/2014 - Group stage
2014/2015 - Final
2015/2016 - R16 vs Bayern

Manchester United in C1
2011/2012 - Group stage
2012/2013 - R16 vs Real
2013/2014 - QF vs Bayern Munchen
2014/2015 - Not Qualified
2015/2016 - Group stage

For me, it's pretty clear United decline started 3 years ago with sir Alex retirement and now the club needs to find its way back to the top.
Cause let's not fool ourselves, without a strong Manchester United in C1, EPL will not be as successful as it should be.
This has been the case for 20 years, and this is the reality.
Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Spurs or Leicester don't have it to lead the EPL in the C1.

So yes, 3 years of decline to overcome.

I also don't get this comparison to City.
United has been controlling its finance for 25 years while earning all that money by monetizing the success on the pitch.
There is no sugar daddy for Manchester United, most of the debt is LBO related.
Daring to compare the current spending with City's spending is classless and frankly, ignorant at best.

Pogba's fall off with sir Alex is being overstated.
Sir Alex did manage to convince Paul at the end but Juventus refused to reconsider the contract once signed even though Pogba had a change of mind.
I don't call that "disrespected him". Furthermore, the reason of the fall off was stupid, it was Paul asking for guaranteed time when Ferguson said that even Rio, Giggs or Scholes don't get any guaranteed time, which is true in a big club.
The result? Pogba still think United is a big club and he made it clear in this BBC interview that he still considers sir Alex as the greatest manager in the world with whom he didn't get along on one thing. Hard to say that's a reason to not come back now. If anything, he will want to clear that for good here.

Oh well, if they like to think we are a small club since 5 years and we disrespected Pogba so much that the only reason to come back is money, much good may it do them. It's always good to have a sort of rationalization in life indeed, right or wrong. We would have done the same in their situation.

They can ask but not guaranteed they will get, i think this is all posturing, for the public, it's all agreed
Possibly.

And the Higuain news helps us massively. They need the cash and will bend eventually. Time is on our side... For now

Any news? Seem Juve asking more and more money greedy basters. What will happen if we pull out where will they find €94m :lol::lol:
They find 47m in their bank accounts for this year and 47m next year, as this was explained again and again.
So they do not necessarily tie this transfer with Pogba's.

At what point do we say to those greedy buggers, " Enough is enough, here's our final offer, take it or feck off. " If we keep agreeing to pay those exorbitant amount and they keep asking us to pay agents cut, adds bonuses and sell on clauses etc, agreeing to all of this could affect us in future negotiations for players. Even the most insignificant clubs out there would know we'll pay over the odds in the end and could take us to the cleaners.

They find 47m in their bank accounts for this year and 47m next year, as this was explained again and again.
So they do not necessarily tie this transfer with Pogba's.

A club whose net spend generally is 50m pay 47m for one player alone? They also need to pay 20m for benatia next season. It's not entirely plausible that they are basing this on Pogba sale.

So they do not necessarily tie this transfer with Pogba's.
They've also brought in Benatia, Pjanic and Pjaca, not to say they haven't got the cash but to add another 50mil on top of that and it would be an incredibly unusual window for Juve when you consider the relatively small amount they're bringing in from sales.

So much for the seemingly daily Real Madrid panic in this thread. I don't even think Perez is trying. I think Zidane is the one kicking up a stink and perez is sitting back and seeing if the deal collapses (which it wont).

Can't believe people are still mentioning Madrid, news flash guys. Pogba is a United player it's just not announced yet.

The deal is so advanced that huge money has been spent for Higuain. Think about if United need a 5th player, the 4th is done.

Has anyone thought that the sale has already been agreed and ITK journo's keep coming up with new things each day so they can sell/get click bates for their respective sports organisations?!

Look at the Micki deal. Dortmund had announced that deal a few days before we had. Plus, the way Juve are spend the money, indicates that this deal has already been done.

It's like when you were a kid and you know your parents already bought you presents but you have to wait until xmas or your birthday to receive them.

unless we keep highlighting how they aren't even in the race, people start to fall back into this "Madrid panic". I know it's stupid, but mentioning once how they aren't in the race will then stop 5 pages of "OMG MADRID WILL GET HIM"
