allready there is now 4 teams involved in this and that will only grow as people look for replacments further down the line, the longer it drags on then it will only take one of them to pull out a deal to stop all the deals happening.
The record Vidal transfer thread is going to be shattered, we haven't even had an announcement yet and the celebration/meltdown that will follow. It's going to be biblical!
I don't know, these threads are pretty quick to get locked nowadays as soon as they become an official player. We need to blow a load now I think if we want to shatter records.
Hugely risky move by Madrid given how cash rich we are. If Madrid are already holding the trump cards (preferred location, CL football) why would they allow United to try start a bidding war? They'll end up paying more for a player than they need to.
If Real really are financially unable to match us (which still seems slightly too big an assumption for me, lack of visable funds has never stopped Real finding Galactico grabbing cash from somewhere) then they dont want to go in early, because all Edd does is make one phone call and say " we'll go higher, dont sell before speaking to us" and then Real are screwed.
Far more sensible, pretend there's no genuine interest, make out like United are the only feasible buyer and let United find Juve's lowest selling price. Once they agree a fee with United, Raiola can make sure Juve stick to that price, Real match it and Pogba decides his destination.
Real just have to hope Raiola is a good enough agent and Juve arent scummy enough to go back on a fee and try to start up a bidding war, which by August (5 days away now), and with Higuain/witsel deals on stand-by, nobody wants to start pissing about with.
Not with this saga. There would be another twist. I'm waiting until he is seen holding the shirt on our twitter page. Even then I'd be suspicious that the official page had been hacked and the picture photoshopped. I'll wait until he is seen playing for us.
In the absence of any updates yesterday, in the Independent they published an article that was about the articles that journalists had written about this story
What an utter waste of time - for me. I was trying to do the same thing, going through all the pages in this thread! I got to page 136.
My goal was to create a timeline, just to show how futile it is to trust journalists.
Here's how far I got. Thank you Independent for doing the work and rendering my project as pointless as the articles I list:

Even if he wasn't a journalistic fraud, which he is, he clearly knows nothing in this saga and is just going to hedge his bets until Di Marzio provides a definitive conclusion that he can copy.
Very little journos know anything about this saga because the people involved have been very tight lipped. So some like this guy have been creating speculation just to try and stay ahead of the pack. Personally I think he is only good for the BOOOMMs
As funny as I find this thread, and I will keep returning to it, I have never once believed anything I hear about Manchester United until the club confirm it. Once I read on our Twitter feed that he's signed I'll believe it, until then everything is conjecture. How else can you treat it when the story changes every day depending on who you read/ listen to?!

If someone with no life, quite possibly me, put enough time aside then the person can list all the reports. Certain patterns such as the one you mentioned will become clearer. I'm convinced that the standing of some journos are inflated.
We read a hundred reports and forget about them soon after. Information overload and selective memory plays a massive role in our perceptions.

I wonder what the rules are regarding agent fees. It's clear from what you've said that Juve and United have agreed terms, and Pogba's personal terms have been agreed... so if all that's in the bag can't we just tell Raiola to piss off? Or will he need paying (ludicrously) for the work he's done in negotiating?
Bluemoon quoted this satirical post over there about Ehsanul and took it as Pogba not coming
Just a word from ensahul, he cant get online. Apparently twitter account called datguy1989 claims Perez and Raiola conducted a deal in Madrid and had the best white wine to celebrate. Woody heard about it in the plane to Miami and was very unhappy.
Make of it what you
Yeah pretty much this. I'd love to see Pogba strut his stuff for us this coming season but I also wouldn't blame Woodward whatsoever if he told Juventus to stuff it at this point either. I've no issue at all with Raiola wanting his pound of flesh, he's earnt it as far as I'm concerned in getting Juventus a fecking bargain in the first place. Juve bumping up the price so that we effectively end up paying Raiola's fee for taking him away from us would just be ridiculous.
