I think we have already pretty munch agreed on the 120m, it's just about who is going to pay the 20 million for raiola. A few day back there were even reports of a agreement for 140m.
Also: for 120m you can buy 4 troy deeneys, not sure if that is what we need.

It can also buy you a shit ton of Rich Tea buscuits, which are equal to Troy Deeney in playing ability, and freaking delicious.
 
I think this should be disqualified as a contender for longest thread, at least a fifth of all posts have just been about the fact that we are going to break the record.

This has to be close with Juve confirming Higuain.

There's no way Woodward/Mourinho will scupper the deal over 10 million.
 
Napoli after the whole tough talk just a week or so ago have actually gone and 'sold' Higuain. Juve are not paying the release clause, they are paying 4m less than it is and are paying it over 2 periods. Napoli knew the money was too good to turn down.

Juve will do the same with Pogba. Its all just tough talk for now. You can quote me in a weeks time.
 
According to the MEN the planned medical has been cancelled. If I was a betting man, his agent is looking for a similar clause to be put into his United contract, in terms of % sell on. Something which is obviously counter productive as it will always encourage the agent to entice the player to move on at some point in the future.

Not much, Raiola had a meeting with Juventus, Came out looking nervous, quotes emerged saying that everything had stopped on the Pogba transfer, muppets went into meltdown, then everyone got excited about breaking the Vidal thread record.
Just your normal day on the Pogba thead. Minus the Vidal record thing mind...

Well congrats on breaking the post count record. Really want this concluded soon but at this stage I have no idea when it will happen. Certain he will sign eventually but no real indications that the end is in sight just yet.

Did you watch the final of Euro 16? And did you think that Pogba managed to change the game for France?

Will he be able to do that for us? Remains to be seen, but we're taking a risk here!

If this does fall apart at this stage because of us refusing to pay Raiola or getting into some sort of dispute with him it could have a serious knock on effect given we will probably at some point have to renegotiate with Mhiktaryan and possibly Zlatan.
 
There's no way the deal would die over the sake of a few million, when £100m has been put forward. The agent thing is a stall, it won't end the deal.

Literally every report I've read on other sites today suggests the deal has stalled due to a disagreement over agents fees. Yet posters on here are convinced it's going ahead 'because Raiola is flying around the world'...:rolleyes:
 
There was no way Woody would allow Pogba to sign until we broke the caf record, like Mourinhio, he wants it all.
