Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

The funny thing for me is, Madrid are benefiting from the nightmares caused by Bayern. We lost R.Sanchez, Vidal and Thiago to Bayern when it looked very much like they were going to sign for us. As far as im aware, we are yet to be gazumped to a transfer by Madrid - Benzema was no saga, he begged to go there and was announced pretty early.
The whole reason they got Benzema was because they failed to sign David Villa the week before. We were in line to sign Benzema to replace Ronaldo.

The most annoying thing about this is that we've possibly passed up on fecking Sanchez to chase this guy.

I agree, I would have rather have bought Sanches. He's much better value for money. He's also younger and looks as good as Pogba (admittedly, from my limited viewing of him)

But it was easy to see Madrid coming back in so we should've hurried our ass instead of sitting around like we usually do on these big transfers.

1. How was it easy to see Madrid coming back in? Infact reports said that United were the only club who could afford him.
2. You have no way of knowing if we have been sitting on our ass. Reports say we have put in an offer worth 92m (a world record fee, if true). Raiola's fee has been the stumbling block. Maybe we just decided not to go beyond a certain value?

OK it's fake but it made me laugh

edit: wtf?

Never been so indifferent to a big transfer before. Don't care if it doesn't go through at all.

Basically every report mentions it. I guess they're all lying. Have you seen the contract?

No I haven't, why would I have seen it. You actually believe all bullshit journalists on Twitter though? They've spouted utter crap for weeks and weeks and weeks.

You dont think De Gea wants to move back to Madrid? Do you think he is pushing for a move? Did he push for a move last summer?
There's a bit difference, DDG was a United player but Pogba is going to be sold anyways so he has to decide.

'Mourinho getting fed up with Pogba saga, believes Madrid have thrown their hat in.'

Now the above is a good piece of news because Mourinho is trying to end this saga by forcing the issue - take it or leave it Juventus. Now that they have spent lots of cash on Higuain they definitely need to sell Pogba.

Real could come in and get Pogba themselves - so what?? If he wants Real than he can go there but we'll not be held to ransom by Pogba and his agent!

Don't worry - we'll use the 120 Million and get 3 good players.

How can our club not know Madrid were not in for him if nearly every fan on this forum could easily see that for themselves. The pressure of Madrid should have swooped us to concluding a deal sooner, even if we would have payed more than we initially thought. Now we are stuck in a situation where Madrid can firmly come in because we haven't acted quick enough.

Personally I think the deal will be done by the end of the week but this type of stuff happens and our club should've known that.

They'll quickly come to a solution with Juve as they have assets that Juve are actually interested in (players). They don't feck about like we do.

You mean like how they took an entire summer to sign Bale, or how they took an entire summer to try and sign De Gea and ended up missing out because of it? Nah, they dont feck about at all.

IMO, paying that much for Pogba is a mistake. A mistake I'm surprised United are willing to make and a mistake I'd be very surprised to see Real make aswell.

I still think he's United bound.. the agent is just doing what he does best - milking the club.

This is a strange transfer. It seems like everything has been in place for it to happen but for whatever reason it hasn't.

He's the perfect player for us but if this doesn't get done in the next few days we need to move on to another target. The season starts soon enough and I do feel it's an area we have to sort out if we want to challenge for the title.

Its basically a win win situation for us. If we sign Pogba then we sign Pogba. If we don't we save about £100m and invest it on other players. We win either way.

The problem is here with all these ITK, people have now started to turn against them staying they don't know jack BUT when the next transfer saga begins they will be quoting the same ITKs and have there cocks out! Until any deal is either tweeted by the official Utd account or on the official website I don't believe anything I read

Surely United can't fail again on one of these big transfers? They'd not only lose respected in the marketplace but also risk pissing off millions of fans worldwide. It would be a PR horror show.
I don't think respect is lost/gained that easily regarding transfers.
But if it is, United lost respect a while ago, never mind now.

But Fergie isn't around. It's time we all moved on. Can't be thinking 'what would he do' etc. He let him go in the first place. Maybe it's his biggest regret? Even worse than Stam perhaps. Who knows. It doesn't matter now anyway. His time is up and Mourinho sees Pogba as instrumental in getting us back where we belong. How about you just roll with that, instead of saying things like "i don't like Pogba because of his hairstyle" Cmon, thats just stupid.

Nope. I don't like him and think we are paying way over the odds.

Funny thing is,Juve wanting theirs 120 mil. clean, making things hard, forcing us to pay up 140 mil plus.

If Real Madrid gets in the ring, they can say goodbye to that, not saying we are angels but compared with some other clubs,we sure look like. They will go so up to Pogba`s head that words like "slave" etc will pop up,they might even use moves from their rivals, where forcing their home kit on Pogba as a "joke" and so on. Wouldnt be surprised if RM bends over Juventus and at the end "The old lady" will think how RM did them a favour.

ehsanul and his cult of "Fear Madrid" will be along shortly after the shite talker de brun tweet

Is there anyone has a clue what is the reason the deal is not agreed yet? Is it Raiola money or Juventus want some more after Real entered the race IDK.

There are countless reasons why a transfer deal the size of 100+ million Euros involving one of the biggest stars in football who also happens to be still on holiday might 'not be agreed yet'.
It's hilarious how fans deduce a fantasy temporal condensing plot from random news reports which may be accurate, or up to date, to varying degrees, and then get captivated by their own fantasy timeline to conjure up sentiments like "this is taking too long", "should have been done weeks age, what the hell?!"

How on earth would you know how long such a deal is supposed to take?!

Was going to question your logic behind this post, but then glanced under the username and saw the 'Supports'

No it aint different. DDG is a United player who wants to go to Madrid and Pogba is a Juventus player who wants to go to Madrid. They both are not adamant on leaving but if they leave and go to Madrid they wont object at all. How is it different?

Pogba rooming with 20 other blokes
Starting to think this guy is chatting shit. He said Pogba would be a United player by now and a deal has been agreed. He's backtracking.
I really don't know why people keep posting his tweets. He knows no more than you or me. He was banned last year because we got fed up with his bs

This is just so long. fecking hope it ends one way or another soon. Heard nothing but Pogba for weeks now.

Agree to this. We should not let Juventus and Raiola bully us into paying 25m extra on top of a world record fee. We will definitely invest the money in other areas. With this money, I think we could get Matuidi, Fabinho and Koulibaly(or Mustafi).

People keep talking about the size of the transfer fee being a problem as it will be so complicated, but it hasn't stopped Juve getting Higuan in a matter of days and his fee is nearly as much.

I don't think he really knows. It looks almost certain that Madrid are now involved so things have already changed.

It's hardly absolutely certain and if it was the Spanish papers would be all over it a lot more than they currently are.

Pilib De Brun knows as much as every other Utd fan - feck all.

Not saying that Real Madrid can't sign him, because obviously they can sign who they want.

But let's not lose our heads over that nobody's Tweet.

Exactly this. He lives in America, How is he going to know what Mourinho is thinking?

Well he's part of Di Marzios team who are most up to date on this stuff so I think he knows the current situation more than anyone here.

It's the same percentage of revenue we spent on Ferdinand (20%) and Keane was like 16%. Did you think they were mistakes too at the time?

Breath guys we are still in front, nothing has changed.

Means absolutely nothing to me..
With his "things can change quickly" he manages to say something by don't saying something. If Madrid signs him tomorrow for example he can refer to his "As I've said things can change quickly" if we sign him he can say "I've always said United are in front".

On the other hand I could clearly see Mou getting boring of this adjourned game as he's always said that he wants to sort out things ASAP. He might hs set Woody a deadline after which he will pursue one of his "other options".
