With Shaw coming back and a much better manager in we've really got a shot at the title this year. I haven't felt that way in a long time.

Its so annoying how everyone gets to know before the people that actually care about this, the fans.
I don't think they know the facts, they're probably reacting to the news like everyone else and hoping it's all true. It also enhance their brand.

Why would there be?, i gaurantee that the club will be telling Jose that Top 4 is the priority this season. Next season is a different matter.

This is Jose's first season, with a fair few new players, getting back into the Champs League will be a success and will be what the club wants/expects from this season. I doubt it. Not winning the title would be a disappointment. Finishing fourth is a progress (fecking hate that word now, thanks LVG!), as we would be able to build on top on that and have CL football. But the aim should be winning the title. The board/Mourinho may downplay it, but that's the target.

lol. Lebron by the time he was 22 was the best player in the world and already in contention for being top 10 all-time. Pogba is middle of the pack, way way way behind Messi, Ronaldo, and Neymar.
I dassagree but thats fine. We could of bought Messi and Ronaldo and i doubt the board would expect to win the league after last season. We are spending this money to get back into 'money pit' of the Champs League, then we build on that in the following seasons.

It will be a minimum like for all our other managers. Aim for 1st, but top 4 will do. Anything outside and you will be sacked. It's the same for Jose. It's also a difference from having 4th as the aim and see where we go from there. 4th is a minimum requirement.

When i said Top 4, i mean any position including first and second. I didn't mean literally 4th place, although that would be acceptable i'm sure for this season.
