Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Have Madrid actually signed any player so far apart from getting Morata back? Strange to see them so quiet in the transfer market especially with the possibility of a transfer ban next year.

I won't be surprised if we also add Fabinho

That would be something wouldn't it. We would have the best squad in the league by a mile, such a far cry from the helter skelter transfer window of VG. Although I'd prefer to buy another CB instead of a RB and shift Bailly to RB.

Have we signed Paul Pogba?

Do people tweeting that we might be about to soon change that?

I'll be excited about signing him when I know we're signing him. Not when people post things on twitter. I'm constantly baffled by transfer muppetry.

I remember that thread but I'm sure it was a different one. That was people arguing he was lazy when every game I saw and everything said about him from training staff, other players etc. suggested the exact opposite. It was just sour grapes because he was leaving...although I'm sure someone would have brought Tunnicliffe up as for some unknown reason everyone seemed to think he was an answer to something at the time.

I remember another thread where people were having a go at me because someone randomly said I was comparing Tunnicliffe to Lee Cattermole and that this was a massive insult, and I was trying to point out that Tunnicliffe would actually be pretty succesful if he made it to the same level as Lee Cattermole...even though I never even mentioned Lee Cattermole until after someone told me to stop comparing Tunnicliffe to him.

Somehow Pogba leaving made people think Tunnicliffe was a million times better than he ever was.

I also remember a lot of people being very happy with Pogba leaving because he was greedy for asking for £20k a week (rumours).

Still not sure...same as I said before. I'll believe it when there's something official or something from someone direct. I can't get excited over people putting tweets on twitter. It's horrendously boring and means nothing.
You seemed very sure here:
We're not signing Paul Pogba. At some point a majority of people in this thread are going to have to deal with that.

What news do you think we will get today?
If Di Marzio was being conservative with the 48hr claim, his big pogba update today could confirm it's done. When they say 48 hours i just assume they actually mean "before the weekend".

Another big update tonight? IMO, Very likely.

Not too much i'd think. i'm guessing the majority of the news will be tomorrow or Saturday.
There might be a little bit of news later on today/tonight saying a deal is even closer, but i wouldn't expect much in the way of exciting news today

48 hours ties up neatly with the end of the month. Its likely I think that United (and possible Juve also) set up that deadline for them to get Pogba so as to leave enough time to pursue alternatives in case it doesn't work out.

out of curiosity instead of searching 30 pages, why did you use the thread marks. it would have brought you to the page and tweet the excitement started
Didn't even realise I could do that. It's hidden away at the top of the screen. But this is pretty much what I was asking for!

They did want Andre Gomes and looked like he was going to sign for Real, but Barca came out of nowhere and stole him. They will add i'm sure in the coming weeks. Who though I couldn't tell you, they have been linked with few players surprisingly.

Yeah I think Pogba may well have his medical today. Hopefully announced by tomorrow.

if it's 48 hours that takes it to Friday night, today and tomorrow morning will be taken up by his medical, plus allow for the USA time difference

It would be great if we could get him over for an (almost) full week of training before Leicester. At least there should be a decent amount of training time before the PL kick-off. And maybe an appearance in Rooney's testimonial?

Amazing we could end up with new manager and 4 key signings before first league game.

There are not many players out there who could genuinely improve their first 11. So they really don't need to sign new players. But this has never stopped Madrid before!

He won't have a medical in a America he will have it in Manchester like every other player does. All this rubbish the other day about the agent cancelling the medical the agent does not book a medical the buying club do that.

This thread moves at a ridiculous pace. It is too hard to keep up with all the news
