1 question: Does anyone know where Ed Woodward actually is?

still won't be convinced that this is going through until he holds up the united t-shirt.

...now what number is he going to wear? 6?

Oh I agree, morgan, herrera, pogba, martial, Mkhi has a midfield has allot more power and mobility about that midfield, what is beyond those guys? fellaini, carrick, bastian, rooney, yikes that is slow and old. Hell replace zlaten in some games for rashford, the entire midfield and frontline has got so much movement. But once again, got to wait and see when or if pogba is signed
Yes! Would love to see that line-up. We need to start smashing small teams at home. It's been too long since we won a game by scoring more than 4 goals.

You don't spend close to 100m on one player to get back in the champions league.
There's no reason at all we can't gun for the title here. There is no 1 established force that will take a huge leap to catch up. City and Chelsea are no further ahead than us, Leicester have lost one of their key players, and needless to say super over achieved, and Tottenham will need to fight against the late season collapse and weary looking Euro performance of their star men.
I agree, there's no reason why we can't go for the league title but if we don't get into the CL that's a lot of money the club loses, whether that's for the entirety of the Adidas contract or just until we get back in I don't know but losing 30-40 odd million a season or whatever it is (I don't know the exact figures) because we didn't at least make the top 4 would be a big loss.

Fantastic signing and a statement of intent from the club.

Unbelievably good summer so far in the market, after starting with Mourinho.

They wont think we will be in the cl anytime soon nor will we be pl winners soon.

Well, we haven't won a title in 3 years.
And the one time we got to the CL, we got bundled out pretty tamely.
Do people remember when we signed Di Maria and Falcao? Some (me included) thought we were immediately title contenders.
I've learnt my lesson to wait and see how the first few games turn out before making bold predictions.
Also, Pogba has not yet signed. The "negotiations are in progress..." mantra has been on-going for over 2 weeks now, so until Pogba actually signs for us, I refuse to count him as a MUFC player.
I think he will either be a MUFC player or a Juve player (with a renewed contract), within the next 2 weeks, so this saga should come to an end soon.

As of right now, on the BBC Sport website, there is nothing and I mean absolutely nothing about Pogba or his transfer to MUFC.

Can't wait to see Mourinho dabbing as we score a last minute winner against City.

This is surely our best ever window? If we sign Fabinho too we'll have signed one of the best young defenders in the world on top of our already brilliant signings.

Has there been any credible links to him?

One of many great things to come out of all these high profile transfers is that it will rightly take away the limelight from players like Martial and Rashford. They will be allowed to develop at their own pace.

BBC only get involved when it's completed, or if both clubs have briefed the British press of a deal/talks etc. Juve have no reason to contact the BBC, so the BBC won't report it until it's done.

You only know in hindsight, the reactions after a couple of windows have been fantastic to be followed by absolutely dire football.

Reminds me of the 98/99 transfer window when United started spending their money. Stam, Yorke, Blonquist. Defender, Striker, Winger. Probably would have bought a midfielder too if we didn't have two unknowns called Keane and Scholes in there. Brilliant stuff. Couldn't be happier with this. I'm amazed the Glazers are finally spending money.

I honestly am happy that Pogba is coming to England albeit with United. We needed more quality players in the league. I don't think he will fail either at United. Will he wear #6? Why do i even care? I'm spending too much time on the caf

Ironically, only Juve have had a window that is as good as ours as been.

I suspect the real reason this deal Could be happening was because we're shitting ourselves over the Adidas contract and it wouldn't surprise me if there was more to come, not making the champions league next season is a big no, no. Whether Pogba is the answer who knows.

You're saying we're signing good players to become a better team and ensure we're competing at the top level?

Bonkers. ;)

You really should let it go. :)

Apparently Pogba has just started following Juventus on Twitter. Wonder what that means :smirk:

Don't know if this has been posted, but I did a Google search for "Paul Pogba" and this came up at the top of the page:

Yeah, they've had a brilliant window and they'll be a strong contender for the CL this year I feel.

Anyone can change Wikipedia though, so hardly a huge clue there.

Maybe the Glazers were never against spending big and it was Fergie who chose to be prudent and believed that there was no value in the market.
