Imagine knowing that you were part of a crowd that held on to the belief you might get a hold of Pogba so decided to not boo him for being ex-United but still decided to boo Evra.
Exactly what I was thinking watching the Away match. Makes it even better that it turns out he rejected 'em :D

Bizarre thing to say regarding our history with failed big summer signings.

The fact this has been draggin on forever, our history with deals like this falling through in the last stages and the fact this hasn't been reported as a done deal by any real reliable sources like the BBC makes people nervous and the slightest indication of bad new is enough to let that doubt creep in.

Not true. Some of the pessimism is less than genuine and is purposely intended to bait others.

Ahh too bad. I knew it was a long shot, but was really hoping to see him pull on the kit in our first match (Bournemouth). I'm just to stoked to see what this team is going to look like, and play like, when we have all the pieces of the jigsaw together.

Haven't accessed the internet all day, just got in, expecting to read about the Poggy announcement, and nothing.

Grrr..
But, but, but....you have missed some weird cryptic Adidas ad with parrots/vultures woteva that has blown the cafs minds.

Read my reply, to a similar post as yours!

Amazes me how people still doubt whether this deal has been done.

People who being pessimistic are A) just attention seeking, or B) just genuinely naive

You're just been daft, of course people will still have their doubts.

If anything this is an 'attention seeking' post in itself.

No, he said the deal is not done. There's a difference. He didn't say that a deal has not been agreed to. Last summer, was there a deal agreed between United and Madrid for DDG? Yes. Was that deal ever a done deal? No. If it was done, DDG would be a Madrid player, and Keylor Navas would be a United player. Done means signed, registered, etc. Especially when it's someone like an agent, lawyer, etc., where very exact wording is a hallmark of their business.

I know that, I just like messing with the fragile minds in here. Leave me that bit of fun, will ya? ;)

Sigh. No. Not at all.

That is not to say there aren't a few trolls on here who are trying to spring a reaction, you might aswell ignore their posts instead of feeding them.

But the largest part of negative tinted posts are just people with doubts, doubts if he is coming, doubts if he is worth his fee and people that are nervous or bored because it has been dragging on for a long time and everyday we get feed the same bullshit by journos that is done and dusted except that it it is not getting announced or reported by credible sources like the BBC. And that is not unjustified at all.

Bs.

Why would we leave it that late.
Nah it was evident he wouldnt play in the CS. He is slated to come back first week of August. There is no way you can be fit enough to play. The league is more important. I want him rested and ready to go at least for the second game at home.

It was always the case Pogba was staying on his vacation until 6th of August, even Carmine said so at the start of this speculation.

If it's been done (and we're past the 48 hours mark) wouldn't a journalist come out and say?
