I thought on a whole he was good last season. Not only that he was one of our most creative players from that position.
 
Pretty good team considering 7 players at least from that team will go in Mourinho's first team when season starts. Pogba, Smalling will be the 2 obvious ones to come in. Don't know who will be paired with Pogba (whether Carrick or Schneiderlin). RB position can also change.
 
Hmm, a bit surprised to see Blind starting ahead of Jones at cb. Thought for sure we'd be entering the season with Jones and Bailly at cb. Perhaps Blind has done enough to convince Jose that he can be our cb. The rest is what I expected. Wasn't sure if we'd start with Carrick or Schneiderlin but expected Morgan to get at least 45 mins to see if he can perform the cdm role properly. I'd still expect to see Carrick start against Leicester and Bournemouth unless Schneiderlin gives a very good performance. That front four looks amazing :drool:
 
Nice team. Mourinho wasting no time in getting those who've just returned, back in action.

Interesting as well that Blind keeps out Jones at centre half. Don't get me wrong, rightly so on last season's evidence, but there was a school of thought that Jones would be first choice a couple of weeks ago.

Feck, missed my prediction real badly! Didn't think Mourinho would play the first team because those who just arrived might not be ready physically, but he's surely in a hurry to stick them together…

Regarding Januzaj, the question remains: did Mourinho even gave him a fair chance, or did he arrive with his decision already made? The player seemed really eager to start and have a chance. And I was hoping he could have shown to be more useful than Memphis or Young, but apparently not.

(Give me a like so I can be promoted from newbie and post more, you bastards! :mad:)
 
It would be nice if I don't see the name of Wayne Rooney on the starting line-up when the actual season begins.

Whenever I search for HD rivers, I only get those crappy ones with loads of crap all over the screen and where you can't make the viewing pane any bigger.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction? Someone earlier said something about a good Reddit page with links on but I can't find the post.
