Herrera and Schneiderlin are really giving me doubts. I know it's preseason and we shouldn't judge any of the players too much on the past 2 seasons, but they aren't able to do the basics correctly.
There is a reason why most teams have 6+ pre season games. We really needed to be playing more.
Our midfield is dreadful, both very easy to play through and totally lacking in composure or incisiveness. Better that Mourinho sees the scale of the job now than when the season's begun as he's got plenty of work to do to make these feckers into a cohesive unit.
It's a bit worrying that our pre season has been terrible. We've played very few matches and the fitness levels look below what they should be.
