Will we reach 900 pages? And who will be the last person to post before the thread is locked. The muppet tension is unbearable.

The pilot, co-pilot and crew must have all hands on deck for this. Multiple mechanical checks are needed too. I don't want to imagine what happens with even a minute of lost signal.
Need him outfitted with a parachute, flame retardant suit, and oxygen mask for the duration of his flight.

David seems extremely confident the deal is done and an announcement is only left to be made.

Most people are tbf aside from the paranoid lot..

I'm afraid that I am one of those paranoid people.
So many false dawns.
Every day which goes by, moves the saga in Juve's favour, as we get closer to 31st August.

I've seen many transfers take place, but never seen a transfer where the deal is done, but no announcement. That's the part I find strange.

9 players out of 10 would absolutely rush to Manchester to complete their transfer to Manchester bloody United as soon as possible whereas Pogba is still partying in LA. feck meg this saga is frustrating.

This feels like it will never end.Going to be so relieved when this is concluded and the season can get underway then.

The guy parrots DiMarzio and Fabrizio, they work otgether or something. These two have already said the same earlier and mr. Amoyol is hardly going to come with something else.

I don't think that's true at all to be honest and you're basing that off your own blind love for the club.

Thing is, everyone actually involved in this transfer and therefore completely in the loop is probably completely relaxed about it. It's only the fans in the dark that are antsy.

It'll be fine.

The only people in a rush are us on this thread. If it is agreed then there is no rush for him to come back. Mourinho may have told him to to stay on holiday so he gets back a fully recharged Pogba ready for the new season. Not sure why people think it's him stalling when the reports 3 weeks ago say that he had already agreed a contract with us. We just want him back quicker to ease our own anxieties.

The meltdown some people will have come Wednesday when it hasen't been announced yet. Truedevil is just a taste of what is to come

I'm in absolutely no doubt that he's coming, what's bugging me is he's lording it up on twitter teasing people etc when the season starts very soon and so he's not going to be fit to play until bloody mid September at this rate.

Fair enough he's entitled to a holiday, but for the money involved, both fee and wages, you'd think he'd want to be ready to go from the start of the season.

I honestly think people getting frustrated at this stage in the saga need a good slap. It's going to happen, everyone can see it, and people still feel a need to moan? He'll be playing for us in our second league game of the season, an announcement on twitter today, friday, or next week won't change that.

The excitement has long gone. When this is announced, the feeling will be more of relief.
I can't wait for the football to start and this damned window, shut.

Exactly this. People expect him to rush back, cancel his well-earned vacation, etc., just so that fans don't have to keep refreshing their browsers and twitter.

Hell, 9 out of 10 players will never even get a sniff from a club of United's stature or any other top club, so of course they would rush back. He's the one being wooed here, he's not begging for United to take him.

And the world's fastest ship trailing the plane because all of that is useless if he has to jump into the Atlantic.

Why don't we have Pogba inside the plane in another plane that will fly out the plane if the bigger plane is going down? We're Man United for feck's sake!

Have a word with yourself you prat

How many weeks holiday did Juve give him?
Morgan and Martial were in the same squad and came back two weeks earlier than Pogba is scheduled.

The financial department promised me money sometime this week. I see the pattern!

Don't know what I'm more desperate to get, my money or Pogba

I agree, each potential transfer only has a certain lifespan of excitement. From the time the player is first linked with United, there's a certain amount of time for which you can be bothered to get really excited about it and can't wait to see him in the red shirt. But this has long since crossed over in to meh territory, not because I don't want him at OT - I certainly do - but because of various reasons (most of them beyond the control of the club) it's taking a very long time. If, heaven forbid, the deal falls through the Cafe will need to shut down for 24 hours minimum.

But they didn't feature in the games? Schneiderlin didn't kick a ball and Martial scraped 50mins.

I think Evra is on holiday with him and those 2 didn't play

A bit troublesome that he didn't cut his vacation short a bit and join with the squad before the official games. Hope he settles in quickly

The wait is brutal. I'm convinced it's done, but would like to have it official and get him linking up with his new teammates as soon as possible. It would be nice to be able to move on, both for the sake of the Caf muppets and for Jose's sake. He may have a good idea of what he wants this team to look like, but until he actually sees it in action (i.e. with the crucial missing 4th piece slotted into the midfield), he won't be able to really put his finger prints on our play style, etc.

I think that second idea wins! Let's put more money where our mouth is

He's trolling the French press, not fans.

What bothers me is the lack of desire on his (Paul's) part to build team chemistry ASAP.

As we all saw this season, a top 4 spot was ONE game away last season. Fortunately missing the top 4 ended up working in the Reds favor.

This season the Reds can't afford to let a game or two slip away while everyone learns to play together. It's new system, with new players in key spots.

I'm pissed at whomever KNOWS this is going down, but are allowing/causing Paul to not be on the team. Two fricken weeks until the season starts. The dude should have been on the practice field two weeks ago.

I, for one, am absolutely embarassed by the club's inability/unwillingness to complete the biggest transfer of all time exactly when I want it to be done.

Seriously, some of you need to relax.
