That's a glorious jersey. If only they'd removed the abomination in the middle that would've been one of the best away jerseys. Up there with the 06-07 away one. And it really suits Pogba 6 at the back.

We WILL get over the line, its now a matter of a few days or perhaps just a few hours time. When we do get over the line, we will have had a great transfer window, spent close to £180 million pounds and acquired 4 great players. But, unless Jose does a U turn, we will be continue to rely on a 31 year old who plays as a 40 year old in the heart of our attack. Is it all for nought??

Yep that's the one. We've really been spoilt with class kits between 06-07 and 08-09. Since adidas took over though I can't really complain as I've always liked their stuff.

What a night that was. I remember thinking he scored for a second. The whole bar fell silent in that moment. It felt like an age, thinking back. Then the huge celebrations from United fans, like we've already won the damned thing. And to be fair, we did. After the Terry miss, there was only going to be one winner. I think yes. Today may just be the day. Juventus wouldn't want a disruptive influence on their squad when he comes back and then leaves after two days and everyone in the ground knows he is leaving ... They would want this wrapped up or at least announced before that so that he doesn't have to come and stay with them for a few days

I find these deadline days amusing. It seems like people never learn.
This is as idle as speculation gets. Basically put 2 and 2 together to make 22. It's not unheard of (or even mildly unusual) that a player whose move is all but confirmed still returns to his old club. That's happened all too often and is the reason why so many moves happen in late August right up to deadline day.
It'll get done in its own time. We can hope (and I certainly do) that it's done before but that's all.

However the important part is that two italian outlets are now saying it's done by the weekend.

Genuine question.. Lots of reports claim that Pogba is due to return to Juve's training ground on Sunday. But Juve will be in England for a friendly on Sunday.. So why would he be returning to Italy? Surely he'd fly to England anyway to train with his teammates?
Why would he fly all the way to England just to watch them play a game, then fly all the way back to Italy? They wont be training on the day of a game, so he'd just be sitting about. Better to get back to the proper training ground and get started on his pre-fitness routines with the other leftover players.
Why does it matter what Juve do and don't do on weekends? If he signs for United, surely we can announce it whenever we want?
Since he'd just return from his holiday, there's no possibility that he'd play in this friendly. Thus, he could rather fly back to Italy have a bit of a rest and start training with his team mates the day after the friendly.
So IMO thre's no reason why he should join this friendly just to sit in the stands.
Similar reasons Jose took Rooney on tour, I suppose. To have his group together and gelling before the season.
Besides, the length of time Pogba has been away with the Euros, and then even longer on holiday, I wouldn't be surprised if half of them have forgotten who he is
