I like the mentality from the players, no doubt instilled by Mourinho. Taking the game to them and being direct when we have the ball.

Noticable improvements (compared to of late): Mata and Carrick's directing running (they're actually running with more intensity!) and passing.

Good observation - I can't say I've ever really noticed his pace through the years since, like you say, he reads the game so well that he doesn't often seem to need to show pace. Still impressive that he has it at age 35
