Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

Good result for Leicester. Only saw the second half, but thought Leicester gave a good account of themselves. Fortunate to not concede more, but tough place to go.

I don't think I've ever seen a CB pairing with less passing skills than Leicester's in the Champions League.

Still, Sevilla will score in Leicester so they probably need to win by 2 which I doubt will happen. I doubt Sevilla will manage less than a draw to be honest. But Leicester have a chance, that's what they will be happy about.

Good result and an away goal. A confidence boost for the return leg

Sevilla were clearly a far better side. While the result certainly is not a bad one for Leicester it's not like they're going to dominate the 2nd leg just because it's played in England.

Leicester have another Leicester night in them imho but the league? Epic or ending in tears for Claudio.

Leicester fans celebrating the 2-1 loss like an away win

I see where they (the fans) are coming from. 2-1 is not a bad loss at all given the crucial away goal that they scored. I definitely fancy their chances of progressing to the next round now.

City and Leicester might progress into the next round. Arsenal and Spurs

Briefly heard the commentator say Sevilla have CB's injured/suspended for the second leg?

A result like that shouldn't be sniffed at for Leicester. They are fighting a relegation battle in the PL and that will do their confidence a world of good for the home game.

Leicester are not going to suddenly have a new defense when they are playing in England. They are definitely going to concede in England.

Sevilla will win by 3 goals in leicester, i'm calling it now

I meant they have made it more difficult for themselves. Still favourite though.
This is very true. I don't see them going out but they could have put the tie to bed tonight and now they have another exhausting game to play. Can't rest players etc.

Sevilla look a better side but Leicester are still in the tie. The Spanish creativity should see them through.

Seville should have put the game to bed tonight, for sure. But I fancy them strongly to go through.

Leicester are essentially a pub team at this level

Juventus may have won but have gone backwards as a side. Lack of proper quality in that side but with Europe generally weaker than past few years you can't rule them out.

Sevilla in nutshell really. We drew 0-0 away vs Juve, won 1-0 vs Atletico, won 2-1 vs real. Then around the same period we can feck up vs Granada, Sporting Gijon, and whatever relegation battling team you can find.

As @Santi_Mesut_Alexis_87 puts it, we made it unnecessary difficult for ourselves. Leicester are still in it, and it annoys me that we couldn't be clinical to kill the game. :(
