Problem with that excuse is that Labour have repeatedly said NHS is the biggest issue in the Copeland by election and is the one thing that has been constantly bought up whilst canvassing the public there.
 
Still refuse to believe they can seriously lose Copeland.

Hope not anyway as I've got £100 riding on it :lol:

Last week's Politics Weekly did a feature on Copeland, and essentially it comes down to those two issues. Granted, it was before he was elected leader, but Corbyn's position on nuclear equates to thousands of job losses in the area.

I can well understand the conflict though, and would not be surprised if Labour held the seat as a result.
 
Speaking of slam dunks, Farage would probably have swept to victory in Stoke (simple being a better political operator). Nuttell has been like a gaffe gun set to automatic fire.

Sure, Corbyn is on thin ice if the respective results go against him, however i don't see the centrists connecting with the constituents of Stoke to any greater degree.
 
The turnout in Stoke is a complete joke. They're saying it could be as low as 20-25%.

The Guardian did it's annual - John Harris goes on Safari a.k.a let's go up the North and visit the locals(I really hate these videos)but a fair few of the people interviewed said they weren't voting or didn't know anyone who were going to vote. The highlight being when a young women was asked if she's going to vote, she replied ''What to leave the EU ?'' :lol:

To be fair Dan Hodges is like that most non election nights as well.
 
Why did Dimbleby say on QT that he's heard Labour will win both by elections. That claim spurred a flurry on the betting market.

He's going to look like a complete fool if Conservatives win Copeland. Its one thing to make the claim on Twitter and another to say it on national TV.
 
This might just be me, but that flat cap of Nuttall's is a vote loser all by itself. He looks even shiftier in the thing.
