Film The Movies I want to see thread

Beat me to it. I've got major reservations but that trailer hasn't increased them which is a good thing.

Yeah I am really hoping this holds it own as a sequel....won't be near as good as the original but can still be pretty damn good.

Not really see if this is a direct sequel to Prometheus.

Edit: The crew of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, but it is actually a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the synthetic David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

I'm not impressed to be honest. Hope they do not feck this up.

I'm gonna watch this again. I just watched this clip with my new super-feckin' duper headphones and I got a stiffy.

I still maintain that's a great film, it's was a perfect non-origin comic book story, I've never read a Judge Dredd comic in my life but everything you needed to know was in the movie.

I loved the fact that Karl Urban read some Dredd comics before he did the film and when asked, he refused to take off the helmet because the character has never done it in the comics.

not into Zombie films , but this I have to see.
Promoted as Frances first gore film, Revenge of the Living Dead Girls (La revanche des mortes-vivantes) is a consumate shocker of horror and sex that as grown into a legend as being one of the sickest and most perverse of zombie films.

Saw this advertised the other day and it looks weird as hell but it's really intriguing at the same time.

I want to see it.

New Sofia Coppola:

Didn't really think much of the first Alien: Covenant trailer, but this second one looks good:

So what's the plot here?

Heralded weather machine goes tits up, resulting in global cataclysm and the loss of hundreds of millions of lives. However, in the spirit of a relatable human interest story, we - the viewer - follow the, ultimately successful, efforts of one plucky American family (and their dog) to overcome insurmountable odds and be reunited in a post apocalyptic safe haven. A weirdly upbeat construct where one of Bill Pullman, Morgan Freeman, James Cromwell, or the lady from battlestar Galatica is the only surviving member of the legislative body; and where nobody seems too bothered by all the dead people because the dog made it through ok?

I'm in.
