I'm gonna watch this again. I just watched this clip with my new super-feckin' duper headphones and I got a stiffy.
I still maintain that's a great film, it's was a perfect non-origin comic book story, I've never read a Judge Dredd comic in my life but everything you needed to know was in the movie.
I loved the fact that Karl Urban read some Dredd comics before he did the film and when asked, he refused to take off the helmet because the character has never done it in the comics.
Black and white edition released. I may watch it again.

This is just my sort of film , Cheesy end of the world disaster stuff , cant wait.

Heralded weather machine goes tits up, resulting in global cataclysm and the loss of hundreds of millions of lives. However, in the spirit of a relatable human interest story, we - the viewer - follow the, ultimately successful, efforts of one plucky American family (and their dog) to overcome insurmountable odds and be reunited in a post apocalyptic safe haven. A weirdly upbeat construct where one of Bill Pullman, Morgan Freeman, James Cromwell, or the lady from battlestar Galatica is the only surviving member of the legislative body; and where nobody seems too bothered by all the dead people because the dog made it through ok?

So you have seen it already, all disaster films like this follow the same sort of line.

What formation were those tornados in? Looked a 4-2-3-1 to me.
I thought that to begin with, then the second half (roughly) of the trailer was almost Bond-like, the jokes and the womanising. Looks great though.
