Treble_Winning vs The Manchester United Medical Team

I don't even know what to say. It seems it's impossible to express an opinion on here that isn't in line with trending views, and it appears that the current trending views on here are that we are shit, Pogba is shit, Zlatan is shit, Mourinho is shit, etc. I have been right about many things (and proven to be so) particularly my comments and predictions on Liverpool and Chelsea. I've tried to offer solid arguments and never resorted to insulting anyone. Yet I get repeatedly insulted. The title of this thread in itself is an insult. I do not understand what is so amusing about expecting higher standards from our medical team given that we have the best modern facilities and a huge budget. A club like United should never accept second place. We can't allow substandard practices in any area particularly from the support staff because their role is to help the players prepare for games in the best possible way.

If we lose, let us lose because of our own poor performances. I am sick and tired of losing due to injuries, illness, suspensions, ref decisions, off the field drama, etc.
If outcomes were determined solely by footballing displays on the pitch, we would be in the top two, challenging Chelsea for the title and not trying to fight for a CL spot.

It's disappointing that contrarian views are not allowed and instead are met with mocking and derision.

To the people here who have been able to take part in reasonable debate, thank you. There are some of you, in this thread, who agreed that it's not acceptable for Jones to repeatedly injure players in training, or for Rashford to repeatedly fall ill. Thank you for being the voice of reason.

This shall be my final post on RedCafe. I am quitting the forum. I see no point in expressing my view only to be met with personal insults and attacks.

However I shall continue supporting United both live at Old Trafford and at home, and in my day to day life. We will win the title and CL under Jose, mark my words. He is the manager who will build us a new era of dominance.

There are many things that a medical team can't predict mate. You can't predict that someone will get flu/infection etc. It's all very well wanting to support united and wanting us to win (feck me I think we all want that!) I don't want us to be second but there are things out if the control of money etc. When it comes to injuries etc I know what I'm talking about.

How can every single one of our strikers be injured? This is outrageous! What is the medical department doing???
Calm down Mabel. Can't decide whether you are on the wind up but your frustration is misplaced.

Zlatan is suspended... Not the medical team's fault.

Rooney apparently injured in training by Jones... Not the medical team's fault and not actually much of a loss.

Rashford has a bug (played anyway)... Not much the medical team can do.

Martial has picked up a small knock... The medical team could give him a painkilling injection but that could risk making the injury worse if he plays.

Look what you all have done.

I like This thread and it's title.
And while most of you are shaking your heads in despair, I'll challenge this perception. Could there be a link between our increasingly focus on physical and rough play, and the injuries?
Or are our players more susceptible to injuries? The before mentioned players are of course out for different reasons, but if you consider players like Shaw, Jones and Mhiki, we are actually having some injuries occurring often.
But then again, I guess that's why we have such a depth in our squad.

Jones has had one longer injury which for him is a success. Mickhi had one small injury after he started playing regulary. And Shaw has little niggles I guess cause of that brake leg. So I think injury situation is a lot, lot better than in recent years.

Anyway @Treble_Winning come back mate!
You're a lot of fun. In a good way.

Yup.... the same accusations are levied at Arsenal with the medical staff and fitness regimes.

Anyway...Jose knows best when it comes to medical matters... even tells doctors whats right and wrong ;-)

Blaming the medical staff for a player getting sick is just absurd. How exactly do you think the immune system works? I'm genuinely curious. Feel free to ask away; I just finished my PhD in immunology and am happy to answer any questions.

It's unacceptable! Someone should hold them accountable for not curing cancer either!

Actually we've had an amazingly small number of injuries under Jose compared to previous years.

Can anyone tell me when rashford has repeatedly fell ill ? That one is a real head scratcher for me.

Can't accept that Mourinho and the backroom staff let Jones and Smalling get injuries while on England duty.

How did I miss this? It's glorious.

Please promote.

Jones and smalling are the biggest brain dead players on the roster who does not now how to take care of themselves and their body , which time to rest and recuperate and the importance of protecting themselves in non sensical england friendlies in training

I don't know what's so funny, the latest news is that Mata is out for the season. He is one of our main creative forces and is also our second highest goal scorer. Who do we have with the vision to break down parked buses with a deft killer pass from just behind the main striker, other than him?

The fact of the matter is that United's season has been badly disrupted by injuries. If we had a fully fit squad for crucial games we would be in the top two.

Also we lost out on another trophy. The FA Cup. If we had a fully fit squad, we would have won against Chelsea. Even with our decimated squad, and with an illness-stricken Rashford upfront, we managed to lose only 1-0 despite having ten men. I have no doubt we have enough to beat them if it were our first XI against theirs.

Yes injuries happen, but why do we suffer so many more injuries (and for much longer periods) than the other clubs?

For a club like Manchester United, this really isn't an option. We need our players fit. The role of the back room staff is to give the playing squad the best possible support to help them do well on the pitch.

You do know that until last week we were probably at the better end of this season's injury table?
