Film The Movies I want to see thread

This reminds me of Angelina Jolie in Salt, looking like an anorexia sufferer with super powers. I stopped watching here after this 90lb twiglet got mullered in the chops by a bloke's forearm, and got up like it was an oopsie daisy. At least Gena Davis looked the part in A Long Kiss Goodnight. I met her once at Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. That's a big bitch.

This post was a feminist's dream until the last 4 words.

You complained about Rogue One, but yet liked this? Life looks completely unimaginative. Black dude dying first and smart people in space being stupid, haven't seen that one before.

This post is sponsored by my inner triggered Star Wars fanboy.

I don't care who dies first. I like the concept since I am hugely fascinated by extraterrestrial life etc.

That being said it will be probably be shit since Ryan Reynolds is in it, but the concept fascinates me more than re-hashed Star Wars plots with unimaginative characters devoid of charm.

I wasn't being serious.

I read a review that said it's main highlight was the organism and certain inventive ways it acted. Probably be worth a watch.

I've been found out. Crap.

On a serious note, I agree. The reviews so far are quite good and it's Sci-Fi, so I'm already sold. Plus Rebecca Ferguson.

Some of the reviews:

"Life is a B movie on an A budget, an old-fashioned creature feature that delivers its cheap thrills expensively."

"Life is effectively a B-movie dressed up as something more, following a formulaic narrative, and yet is one elevated by the stellar cast and big budget."

Now I am truly excited.

Got round to watching Arrival, thought it was a very good movie. really enjoyed it. Engrossing from start to end.
