Champions League QFs (11th - 19th April)

Pulisic being on the bench had to be expected as he is consistently stronger as sub than as starter. I can´t really pinpoint it but something about his game gives his opposing players tremendous trouble for a time until they adapt to it. Pulisic as of right now is an ideal player for half an hour, probably our strongest high impact sub.

Dembele on the bench pretty much means to me, that Reus is not expected to play the full game (he might have an hour or so in his tank) and Tuchel wants exchange on the highest level later against tired opposition.

The whole game rides on our ability to score early. If we do so we rip the tie wide open.

I guess that makes sense, let's see how it plays out.

Utd fans get such a hard time for 'not being from Manchester' but I have literally never met a Barcelona fan from Spain, let alone the Catalan city!

That close up of the crowd just now reminded me of this. (I don't have any issue with people from all around the world supporting Utd - it's great.)

They owe us one for the 1998 final settled by a Mijatovic offside goal, so here we'd go again with refs

The ref will have a hard job here then :lol:

Actually I think Juve is the only team who can stop RM at the moment. I consider Juve the second best team in the world currently after Real. Bayern is aging and no longer a power house as before and Barca only got a hell of an attack but pretty average to shit defense and midfield.

Juve starting XI is one of the best currently.

Going to be tuning into the Monaco/Dortmund game - it's hopefully a cracker. Hope Barca/Juve is a good game but, have a really bad feeling for Juve fans because the refs will undoubtedly end up being the talking point again.

Full strength, more propositive lineup, good confidence. But it is Camp Nou this evening so we will see.

French police better state a pretty convincing reason for holding the Dortmund bus back.

If I was Dortmund I would refuse to play otherwise.

Juve will need to score and not themselves under pressure as what Paris did. Going full defensive against Barca and inviting pressure unnecessarily is a suicide. Allegri should play with his normal style of play and everything will be alright.

Would have already helped not letting the team in the dark for fifteen minutes (only citing "security reasons") while searching the bus....

Tuchel explained why Dembele is on the bench: Appears tired from the many matches and the responsibilities he shouldered. Appears also a bit affected by the recent events. Gets often fouled, it's a good alternative to bring him from the bench later in the game when there's likely more space for his game.

'More than a club' always makes me laugh. Sanctimonious twats - hope Juve smash them again.

On a more positive note, there has really developed a genuine friendship between the supports of Monaco and Dortmund. Fascinating as both clubs are polar opposites in many ways but the unusual and sad circumstances really brought them together.

Why are Barca fans booing the UEFA anthem? Not happy with the assistance they've been getting so far?

"The theatre of dreams"

You guys read too much into things, lol

The Theatre of Dreams basically means where dreams come true for fans and young men who grace the surface

More than just a club is political in nature.

Juve look like they won't be putting 11 players behind the ball, unlike some French team that came here to protect a 4-0 lead. Good stuff.

Juve already looking far better than PSG did by not instantly sitting on their own 18 yard line.

Very surprised to see Juve going with a 4-2-3-1 here. Doesn't look like they're going to sit back and invite Barca to attack. A counter attacking masterclass will be needed from the bianconeri tonight to see this through.

This stream shite sure makes watching football hard. Won't even bother and rather just follow the results.
