Why the feck do Adidas ruin potnetially good black kits with those faded imprints? I get that they're supposed to be an homage to older jerseys, but it just makes the jersey look cheaper and more tacky imo.

Love it. The retro pattern makes it. A proper crest in red and yellow, and the Adidas trefoil in that old fluffy material would have made it really special.

Sizes are normal really. The player version shirts are tighter though so unless you like them more 'fitted' like I do i'd suggest sizing up.
I normally leave it until the shirt has been out a month or so before I order just to make sure they are using the correct prototype, as they sometimes jump the gun and sell the shirt early and it isn't 100% if that makes sense.

I'm not angry i'm puzzled i pop into these kit threads every couple of months over the last few years and 3 years on people are still discussing the chevrolet logo as much as the actual kits.
God forbid people would voice any sort of displeasure over the issue of commercialization, am I right? I mean it's just weird that club supporters would rather the club crest feature in its intended colors than a foreign sponsor. But money and Deloitte rankings and revenues and flashy signings right? There's been very little success around here since that has been the business model.

The retro USA WC '94 print does not look good.
1. The complaints have nothing to do with commercialisation, they're moaning about that specific logo.
2. He didn't say anything about the club crest.
3. There's been quite a bit of success since 2005 actually, and if we're honest the commercialisation began long before that and we've been enormous beneficiaries of that.

Never really gotten the inherent love for our black kits myself. We've only had one truly great black kit IMO, and that was in 94/95. All the others have a slightly off, fascistic look to me. I much prefer the royal blue ones personally.

I don't necessarily disagree with that but for this particular discussion that argument had more merit in 2014. People seem to have no problem with the idea of United selling the advertising space on the shirt, they just don't like which company logo is placed there. I mean come on it's literally the same thing being discussed over and over again 3 years on.
Someone says they hate the Chevy logo and how horrible it is, another person says but thats their company logo they use on all their recent cars and they pay a lot of money to put it there, then someone else says but why can't it just be white text or text and a white outline... bla, bla, bla rinse repeat.
I had thought that at some point over a 3 year period people would just make peace with the fact that the logo is here to stay. It seems i was wrong.
