I don't wish to come across as being negative, but I had said this to a poster yesterday. We needed at least two goals (at Old Trafford) to kill the tie. He replied that one would be enough (at Old Trafford). I said no because if they get one, it will be nervy because they will just throw men forward. Luckily they scored late enough in the game.

But in all honesty we should have had this tie killed in the first half. The match reminded me of when Scholes scored in the semi final against Barcelona and we defended for our life. I could understand it in that match given the opposition. But this was Celta Vigo. The only thing I can think that mitigates that is that it is a European Semi final therefore the players are nervous.

Luckily Gudetti is useless and missed two really good chances. I don't think i can watch the final. It will be too nervy.

Had Guidetti put that chance away and United lost out, I shudder to think what the reaction might have been.
