Remember when West Ham played their last home game of the season against us and denied us the CL?

And look at them now... not a single feck given

No you wont, but I dont think you will make top 4 next season either. At least 6 players entering the final year of their contract. A fan base who want the manager out. A manager who refuses to accept that he is done. A transfer policy that is absolutely shocking. City, Chelsea, Utd will all spend big this summer. You wont keep up or attract the right level of players

One of the top six is going to suffer for all sorts of reasons next season. Mainly player related. I'd rather it was Arsenal than us.

Good question, like you said the top tier would be the likes of Griezmann, Suarez and I'd even put the likes of Pogba, Bale, Hazard etc etc in there as well.

Second tier would be in my opinion the likes of Aubameyang, Cavani, Rues and the likes.

You'll be best suited with the likes of Mane who has been fantastic this season for yourself but isn't among the worlds best.

A few tiers above the Vardy's and Romeu's you will actually be buying.

Hmmm.... yeah I don't think we can get Aubemeyang.

I think we could get 1 player from the second tier, with a bit of luck.

But yeah perhaps you're right, mostly third teir. Still great players, they'll be Champions League exclusive. So it'll be an upgrade for sure. Provided we scout right.

Lacazette we would get I reckon.

Liverpool full value for their win today but that WH defence combined with the masterful incompetence of Swarbrick has been nothing short of a shambles.

Looks like Arsene Cl run is over. Well at least he won't be eliminated in embarassing fashion next year. Maybe they can pull an United type of run in the Europa League.

Yeah I agree. Klopp will have more pulling power than Rodgers anyway.

Tottenham fans will be asking where was this shocking West Ham team when they lost there. But i guess what would sweeten the blow is the fact it is coming at Arsenal's expense.

Him werner Tielemans. Type of signing we should be making but we wont.

So you'll be aiming for players with potential who in years to come you can make a profit on? I get how as a business model that would work but aiming as a club of your size should be which is to be the very best, a strategy like this isn't going to make that happen.

Alexnandre Lacazette I could see joining but he won't be without other admirers, think I read somewhere that Athletico Madrid were interested as well and if given the choice the smart money would be for him to head to Spain. Like you say, those players who aren't going to be sort after by the biggest clubs and the richest (where we fall in to at the moment) but those who are good enough for a club looking to build.

I understand why Grujic joined Liverpool, even tho he could see Markovic and say "So this is how you ruin your progress" but what on earth Liverpool seen in him, weird. At least Markovic took proper step and went to Benfica first.

Those three as squad options with potential to develop? Nothing wrong with that I'd still expect first xi signings. Problem is we wont do both. We arent savvy enough and dont spend enough. Do or die for FSG.

Bilic is such a poor manager, got his team selection wrong and then panicked with his subs. It didn't look like what he started with today were his best options.

Don't you think it should have been a re-take (given the goalie off his line and 2 Man City players encroaching)?
Possibly, I'm just saying that the decision he made to rule the penalty out for the double kick was a correct one.

I said after he came on at Watford and I'll say it again now, If Sturridge had made at least say 25 prem appearances we would probably have been a lot closer to Chelsea/Spurs... shame as I think he'll leave the club where he could have achieved a lot more. Coutinho tho .

It wasn't though.

Rule the penalty out without retake = wrong decision
Let the goal stand = wrong decision
Retake = right decision

If we'd had scored one more in those 10 home draws or what ever it is we'd be close to being top.. all ifs, buts and maybes when truth of the matter is neither your lot or my lot have been good enough this season and are in truth, average.

Never liked Liverpool at all. Yeah, i respect their history, but they are just a bunch of cocky glorified hunters these days. People like Thompson and Lawrenson are just pathetic.
Hahaha ! After all the sweetness during the past week, when this guy thought Arsenal were going to pip us (they still might) look at him now he thinks they won't. Bitter or what :D

As far as I'm aware if the kicker touches the ball again after the first kick before another player then it should be an indirect free kick to the other team, not a retake.

Yeah, for sure.
