Do we want Juventus or Madrid for the Super Cup?

Who do you want United to face in the Super Cup?

Juve, simply because it means Real don't win CL

Juventus. Although Real Madrid would make it a bigger spectacle, I don't want them to win next Saturday.

Juve are like united of Italy. Much rather play them than the wankers from Madrid. Albeit they are seriously great. But don't really care much and certainly don't give a shit about those pretentious reunions.

Would love a Ronaldo reunion but I want Juve to win the cup. They deserve to win this after a fantastic rebuilding.
Would it really be a reunion though? Chances are Carrick will be the only person in the squad that played with him.

Any chance Juve win the CL but we get Real in the SC?

Bailly banned? :(

Definitely Juventus, it'll bring back memories of our games in the 90's. Now if we can get Giggs back out of retirement.
Plus I dislike Real Madrid so the less they win the better.

Looked for the don't care option, wasn't one so bucked the trend. Real. Slight revenge for getting cheated out of the CL a few years ago.

More potential satisfaction if we were to beat Real

Better chance against Juve so I'd rather play them

Real Madrid for the prestige but Juve might be easier as they have less attacking variations than Madrid but they will sit back. Either team would be tough.

Real will trouble us more with their attack but Mou can set up to counter them whilst Juve will give us less attacking worries but be harder for us to actually attack.

Don't know why all people want Juve, hating Madrid aside, I don't want to play against a very strong defensive side as them. We'll struggle to score a goal against their defense whatever our attackers.

From tactical point of view facing Madrid will be a much interesting super cup match.

Don't care who wins the CL-Final because we're not in it. I'd rather play Real Madrid however, it would be an a lot more entertaining game.

Real is boring unless it's in the CL knockouts. Feels like our games against them are old news and overdone. Despite Juve's past, I've always liked and respected the club for some reason. I'd like to see us face them.

We've had trouble scoring against average teams this year so I'd rather see our potential starting XI for next year try to score against the best defence we've seen in recent history.

Real obviously. Would suit us better and would be a more watchable game than us vs. Juve.

Juventus. I have a lot of respect for them from days gone by. Sod playing the circus.

I don't want either to win really

Real because they're opening up a gap to the other European sides, and also because I want to keep the tradition of no team winning the CL consecutively. But then I don't want Juve to win the CL either without Pogba, especially with all the stick some fans gave him and us. Overall I guess Madrid is the lesser evil and as mentioned earlier United vs. Madrid Super cup would be a more high profile event.

Don't really give two fecks. Just want us to have a stronger team than we do now, that will at least contest the game on a similar level.

Simply because we won't face as many good defenses as them, there would be a lot to learn from that game.

Why should it matter, do you work for a promoter ?

Don't really think Messi, Suarez and Neymar learned anything from facing them. It will be just a frustrating match to see tbh.

It's mainly because people hate Madrid. Well I don't tbf.

Well fans have preferences on who they like to see their team play. Personally I will find a fixture against Madrid more memorable than a fixture against Juventus. In other words, it's more of a special occasion to me when these two teams meet as our fixtures are historically recognised.

Regardless of who you get, will be interesting to see the look of your side, I suspect most your transfer buisness will be done by then.

I want juve to win the CL, but i'd love the rematch against Madrid and Ronaldo.

We don't have a Messi/Suarez/Neymar type of players so your comparison is weird to me. We're a team in construction, facing such a strong defensive team may help Mourinho realize some adjustements needed in attack (not that he'd need a game against them to do that).

Talking about a preference makes more sense and is absolutely fine. I hate almost everything Real Madrid related, so I'd do fine not facing them.

We have as much history if not more playing against Juventus than Madrid.

I mean if the best attacking trio in the world couldn't succeed in scoring a single goal against them on 180 minutes you suppose that we will be the ones to do that ?

I can see them winning 2 - 0 easily and will be frustrating to watch. Jose doesn't need to face a unbeatable defense to know his attacking requirements. The league is the key to judge our attack efficacy. Also we would have probably finished our transfers business by this match any way.

Madrid will come to attack and play football. It will be a much better match in everything, tactically and in entertainment.

Juve. I'd like to see Jose's approach in playing against them
