Juventus - Real Madrid (CL Final)

Been here before. It's a beautiful country. Everyone is super nice too. Hot as balls though. 33C today. Tried to have a kickaround with my son and nearly expired.
Yeah, it's crazily hot. I wish I was in the seaside right now. :)
Glad you're enjoying it mate.:)

Entertaining first half. Real Madrid looked the better team until Juve scored, now Juve look the most likely to score. How thingsssss change

What a game this is! Brych is the only irritaiting moment so far, hopefully he steps up in second half. But overall: great quality from both teams, and Juventus have been better, especially since 1-1.

A sidenote: if Mandzukic scores another, then he joins Cristiano in having 3 goals in the CL final stage.

Best CL final for a while. Juve has been attacking more than Madrid. Who would've thought?

good watch 1st half, Pjanic playing well, sandro is a beast strong and fast

If you can't take it, don't give it. So it's all fair game.

Come on @Mr Pigeon I'm setting them up you just need to knock them out of the park.

We're the new Two Ronnies!

watching this game is just making me think of how bad i want us to be in a CL final

juventus managed to rebuild itself into a force with shrewd business and some good managers (conte and allegri), we should be able to do it as well, hopefully.
This. I was imagining United in the final next year.

Gerrard and Rio saying Navas should have used his other arm, he'd have been even further away from it if he'd done that ffs

My tv channel has the legend Mikel Silvestre as the half time guest.

Personally, I think that he should have jumped higher. That's my two cents.

Surprised at just how strong and full of virality Juventus are. They intimidate and boss yet also possess silk and magic. The complete team.

Real Madrid's team has seen its best days. It's calculating, cynical and can only win on the counter-attack. They have become the wise old lady.

Can't see anything other than a Juventus win here.

Sadly enough, this isn't a joke. Some are already thinking this way.

Well, this final is exactly the clash between those two ideas. Buy the best players and keep them happy vs do a proper thing without having to spend millions in Bale or Suarez

Dybala needs to show up for this second half.
This is the type of game when Juve look to have the best of it but Benzema and Ronaldo combine on a lethal counter

Mandzukic goals won't happen if Madrid has a taller top GK.

DDG, Oblak, Cortois will save that. The ball was not heading to the corner of the net. And Navas only few inches misses the save.

No matter how good Navas is, no matter how flexible he is, the height factor for the GK is an advantage.

Wait for second half, Juve will play aerial football more. And note it, Mandzukic is higher than Ramos.

Yeah, the only problem being that Juventus have names and a system, which is why they are that good.

If you told someone Mandzukic would score a bicycle kick in a CL final they would tell you you're insane. Not saying we don't need top quality players, but not every player has to be a household name.

They have been amazing with the ball, playing it out from the back and been so confident on the ball. I didn't realise they were this good.

We are so far away from this it's not even funny.

Great first half. Madrid are too narrow and Alex Sandro is having the time of his life down the left
Agreed- Carvajal needs to stay on Sandro, Varane + Ramos on Mandzukic+Higuain, and Casemiro man marking Dybala across the pitch. That would leave Isco+Modric+kroos vs Khedira+Pjanic which would give them an edge through the middle and they can use Kroos in a free role to drop deep when needed,

The thing with this surprising overhead executions is that the keeper doesn't expect it. So on top of the actual shot, the keeper wastes some important moments figuring out what the hell is going on. Those moments Navas wasted before making the jump were vital. Not his fault at all imo.

I fecking hate mandzukic with the intensity of a thousand supernovas
