Yep. You can tell the caf has a young age profile when posters keep saying Hazard neymar etc is the next ronaldo/messi. that said l would love to have seen maradona in the current CL format. i looked it up before and he only played around 10 european cup games.
Typical Ronaldo game, very quiet you don't notice he's on the pitch most of the time but always finds that moment to be in position to score a goal.

Looks like messi has a better ratio. And will definitely surpass him in total numbers as well eventually considering their age.

I think Ronaldo's aerial prowess gives him an edge in terms of "complete" goal scorer.
The stats are skewed due to Ronaldo's early days. Since he became a goalscorer he's certainly the best goalscorer I've ever seen.
As for Messi catching up, you're assuming they'll both play the same amount of years and at the same level when that might not be the case.
He is brilliant goalscorer, his movement and play is so intelligent.
