Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Well isn't it logical to move to a big club now for 3 years then move to China at, say, 31 years old ?
3 years at €30m instead of €10m will have you retire €60m richer, most people wouldn't have to think twice.

Also after PSG pulled out the next best club in line for him was Liverpool, he might have as good a shot at winning titles with Tianjin. On top of that being one of the first players to earn a legendary status in a fast growing and gigantic market like China might prove very valuable in the future.

I doubt City fans will care about any of that shit seeing as though these are the same set of fans that gave second chances to the likes of Tevez, Balotelli and Yaya Toure. It's a match made in heaven really.

Also the same set of fans that got this catchy chant going:

Only to think he is the best thing since sliced bread if they lose under Guardiola.

Their fans have no loyalty to any of their players or managers, and neither do the players seem to have any particular loyalty to them. It's a match made in heaven when you think about it, really.

I doubt many of their players had heard of them until they got the cash anyway, like Anzhi or some of the Chinese clubs.

I'm not trying to be negative but it's just been so slow. If we had signed Griezmann, I would have been okay until July

Don't give me this shite. Most clubs have been moving in and getting their targets in before the window has opened.

Hardly any big names have moved really.

In the premier league

Chelsea - No one
Spurs- No one
City - Emerson, Silva
Liverpool - Salah
Arsenal - No one
United - Lindelof

Exactly - and it's not just the UK, who have Barca signed? Who have Real signed? What about Juve, PSG, Bayern - it's not like United are being left behind while everyone else is signing the best and brightest. We've signed a highly rated defender, and the only signing we've definitely missed out on is Griezmann which had nothing to do with bad transfer policy and everything to do with their transfer ban (plus I still expect him to arrive in 2018).

Moar tweets and less chit-chat, please!

What, with 60+ games in a season plus injuries we need more depth in midfield. The very least I'd buy is two midfielders.

That's what Fellaini, Carrick, Periera, Mata, TFM and maybe even Rooney will be needed for, I am talking about the starting XI Matic & Fabinho would not be expecting to spend much time on the bench, so my point is it would be hard to see a formation with them both playing without leaving out one of Herrera or Pogba,

I think he could be an excellemt signing, but will this mean the end of Mata or Martial?

James is an attacking midfielder who can also play as a winger. He'll be competing directly with Mata and Mikhi for the number 10 slot. One gets the sense that Jose would prefer him as his number 10. The problem for Mata and Martial will be when United buys both James and Perisic or any other winger. If that happens, I dare say that Mata or Martial may need to move to get good game time especially as the World Cup is next year.

I would love James here especially if we get him and Morata, but I believe these reports are just BS so won't pay much into it.
